Account Stats Desk

Account Stats Desk

Account Stats Desk is a MetaTrader 5 chart indicator that visualizes closed-trade performance as an equity curve, account statistics, and a scrollable trade history table. It is an analytical display tool only. It does not open, modify, or close orders.

Overview

The indicator rebuilds a cumulative equity series from deal history available in the terminal, filtered by magic number and symbol when required. The layout places the equity graph on the left, live account figures on the right, and a history table across the bottom (detail, day, week, and month views depending on the build).

Use it to review how a strategy or a filtered set of trades behaved over a selected lookback window without leaving the chart.

Main features

  • Equity curve rebuilt from closed deals in the selected window
  • Optional alignment with current account equity when floating profit is present
  • Account block: balance, equity, today result, profit factor, win rate, max drawdown percent, trade counts
  • History area for closed-trade details and period summaries
  • Filters: magic number (0 = all), symbol (empty = chart symbol), lookback days
  • Dark or light canvas theme, panel opacity, position and size controls
  • Draggable panel header (where supported by the panel host)
  • English interface in the Market build

How it works

  1. On start, the indicator reads account deal history according to Magic, Symbol, and Lookback days.
  2. Closed trades are converted into a cumulative equity series for the graph.
  3. Account statistics are calculated for the same filter scope where applicable.
  4. The history table refreshes on the timer interval set in Inputs.
  5. Deposits and withdrawals inside the lookback window are not modeled as separate cash-flow events. Large cash movements may shift the curve relative to pure trading P/L.

Quick start

  1. Attach Account Stats Desk to any chart.
  2. Leave Magic = 0 and Symbol empty to use all magics and the chart symbol.
  3. Set Lookback days (default 90) to the history depth you need.
  4. Adjust panel X/Y, graph width, and heights if the panel overlaps chart objects.
  5. Change Theme and Opacity to match your chart style.

Input parameters

Data

  • Magic (0=all) — Filter closed deals by magic number. 0 means no magic filter.
  • Symbol (empty=chart) — Filter by symbol. Empty string uses the chart symbol.
  • Lookback days — Number of calendar days of history to rebuild.

Panel

  • Title (empty=auto) — Custom panel title. Empty builds a default title from the symbol.
  • Panel X / Panel Y — Top-left position on the chart.
  • Graph width — Width of the equity graph area (stats area uses half of this width in the default layout).
  • Graph / stats height — Height of the upper graph and stats row.
  • History table height — Height of the lower history area.
  • History refresh (ms) — Timer interval for history refresh.
  • Theme — Dark or light canvas theme.
  • Panel opacity % (20-100) — Panel transparency.
  • Show account stats — Show or hide the account statistics block.

Recommendations

  • For EA review, set Magic to the EA magic and Symbol to the traded instrument.
  • Keep Lookback days realistic for the history loaded in the terminal. Incomplete history produces incomplete curves.
  • Prefer a chart with enough free space on the left or right so the panel does not cover price action you need to see.
  • In the Strategy Tester, results depend on the tester history and account mode. Use visual mode when you need the panel on screen.

Important notes

  • This product does not trade and does not guarantee future results.
  • Statistics and curves depend on the deal history available in MetaTrader 5.
  • Partial closes and commissions follow terminal deal records. Always cross-check critical figures with the Account History tab when needed.
  • Screenshots and input captions in the Market listing are in English.
