Como testamos

Os backtests são executados com 100% de ticks reais desde 2008, com comissão, slippage e swap deduzidos de cada operação. As imagens mostram resultados de backtest em dados históricos, não de operações reais.

Os backtests foram executados no Strategy Tester do MetaTrader 5 com a build MT5 da versão 2.6, que tem os mesmos parâmetros das estratégias e os mesmos valores padrão dos parâmetros. A build MT5 também posiciona o take profit e o break-even longe o suficiente para cobrir os custos de cada operação, e seu fechamento na sexta-feira começa 15 minutos antes. O EA MT4 posiciona o take profit e o break-even sem esses custos e começa o fechamento na sexta-feira na hora cheia, portanto seus resultados, no Strategy Tester do MT4 e em uma conta real, serão diferentes dos backtests.

Requisitos

Símbolo: XAUUSD / GOLD. Timeframe: qualquer. O EA define as próprias cores do gráfico.

Histórico de preços: pelo menos 2 anos de histórico do ouro no terminal. Com um histórico menor, as operações podem diferir do backtest.

Conta: ECN / raw spread. As estratégias são sensíveis ao spread: spreads altos reduzem os resultados.

Saldo mínimo: 1.000 USD para 0,01 lote (alavancagem 1:100 ou maior).

VPS recomendado. Para o filtro de notícias, adicione o endereço mostrado no parâmetro "Copy this URL" em Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest.

Configurações

Gestão de capital

  • Money Management Method: Fixed Lot (usa Base / Fixed Lot), Capital Step (por exemplo, 0,01 lote a cada 1.000 USD) ou Risk % (lote calculado a partir do risco no stop loss)

  • Risk % per trade: somente para o método Risk %. O padrão é 1,0; o gráfico anual nas imagens usa 0,65. Se o lote calculado for menor que o lote mínimo da corretora, é usado o lote mínimo, e assim o risco pode ser maior que o definido

  • Base / Fixed Lot: tamanho do lote inicial ou fixo

  • Capital step: somente para o método Capital Step

Execução

  • Entry Execution Mode: ordens pendentes (mantidas pelo EA e enviadas à corretora quando o preço se aproxima; o EA as exclui quando é removido ou parado) ou execução a mercado (ordens não visíveis para a corretora)

  • Exit Execution Mode: SL/TP visíveis (enviados à corretora) ou SL/TP ocultos (mantidos pelo EA, não pela corretora: o terminal deve permanecer em execução, e uma reinicialização do EA, inclusive uma alteração dos parâmetros ou do timeframe, redefine os stops ocultos de todas as operações do Golden Eagle Prime no terminal para o stop loss inicial; o break-even e o trailing então recomeçam a partir do preço atual)

  • Max Spread points: spread máximo em pontos da corretora, somente para execução a mercado. 40 pontos são 0,40 USD com cotações do ouro de 2 casas decimais, mas 0,04 USD com cotações de 3 casas decimais: aumente o valor com cotações de 3 casas decimais (0 desativa a verificação)

  • Trailing update step: em USD do preço do ouro (0,25 = 25 centavos)

  • Wait minutes after market open: minutos de espera após a abertura do mercado

  • Friday Broker closing hour: na sexta-feira, a partir deste horário (horário da corretora), todas as posições abertas e ordens pendentes no símbolo do gráfico são fechadas, inclusive operações manuais e operações de outros EAs; 24 ou 25 desativa a função

Filtro de notícias

  • Enable News Filter: em torno de notícias selecionadas de alto impacto do USD (emprego, inflação, divulgações do Fed e de taxas de juros), fecha as operações e as ordens pendentes do EA e pausa a negociação (desativado por padrão, não ativo no Strategy Tester)

  • Pause minutes before news / Pause minutes after news: minutos de pausa antes / depois das notícias

Thanks for the review. In theory, all the EA strategies together should ensure a better risk-reward ratio. If you feel more confident, you can even run just one or two. If you look at the screenshots, I've included the BTs for the individual strategies.
