AO Sentinel Gold
AO Sentinel Gold is a long-only Expert Advisor for XAUUSD on the H1 timeframe. It follows one simple, rule-based setup and runs fully automatically.
HOW IT WORKS
- Signal: the Awesome Oscillator turns from falling to rising on a closed H1 bar.
- Entry: a Buy Stop order is placed at the previous day's high, so the trade only opens if price confirms the move.
- Pending order is cancelled if it is not triggered within 6 bars.
- Exit: the position is closed after 3 bars from activation (time-based exit).

Strategy Tester, XAUUSD H1, January 2024 to January 2026, 100% real ticks, initial deposit 500 USD, fixed lot 0.01:
- 142 trades, 61.97% winning trades
- Profit factor: 1.98
- Maximum equity drawdown: 8.68%
- Maximum consecutive losses: 4
