Auryndra Gold
A MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for gold breakout trading. The system identifies pivot highs and lows on several internal timeframes and uses pending Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders when its entry conditions are met.
The robot contains nine strategy configurations and manages trades by symbol and magic number. Its parameters were calibrated on gold, such as XAUUSD, on a USD hedging account. The program also processes other symbols using their contract specifications; this does not establish performance calibration for those markets.
Trading approach
- Breakouts of identified levels, with distance and separation filters.
- Fixed-lot and dynamic position-sizing modes.
- Configurable stop-loss, take-profit, break-even and trailing management.
- Pending-order expiration and optional virtual stops.
- Spread filtering, Friday handling and configurable daily protection.
- Conservative activation-margin reservation for existing and new pending orders.
- Strategy selection and independent permission for buy and sell entries.
Setup and inputs
The reference setup is a USD hedging account and a gold chart. H1 was used in the documented test; the strategies use their own internal timeframes. Check the broker's symbol name, contract size, minimum volume, spread, margin and trading sessions before use.
- TradeFrequency: selects the strategy group. Extreme frequency increases activity and risk.
- Risk and StartLots: select the position-sizing method and reference volume. For a physical fixed volume equal to StartLots, disable AdjustLotsizeToVariableValues. With that adjustment enabled, volume is also divided by the price scale.
- MaxAllowedDD and MaxRiskPerStrategy_: sizing references, not guaranteed maximum losses.
- UseVariableValues and AdjustLotsizeToVariableValues: adjust values and volume using the implemented price scaling.
- MaxSpread and CheckMargin: control spread and margin filters. MaxSpread uses a nominal price unit of 0.01, multiplied by the price scale when enabled; it does not directly represent the points of every quotation format.
- AllowBuyTrades and AllowSellTrades: enable the entry directions.
- ST1_MagicNumber and ST1_Comment: identify trades. Avoid instances sharing the same magic numbers on the same symbol.
- FridayStopHour, FridayClosePending and FridayCloseOpen: configure Friday handling.
- PropFirmMaxDailyDD: implemented daily protection; gaps and execution conditions can exceed risk references.
- EnableNFP_Filter, EnableCPI_Filter and EnableIR_Filter: enable news filters, each with its own windows and close options. Calendar availability must be checked.
- RunStrat1 to RunStrat9: control manual strategy selection.
Version 1.006 historical test
XAUUSD, H1, from 1 June 2026 to 1 July 2026, exclusive end. Initial deposit USD 200, leverage 1:100, Extreme frequency and 1-minute OHLC modeling. Spread came from broker historical data, with no fixed-spread override.
Net profit: USD 63.04. Final balance: USD 263.04. The test recorded 6 completed trades, a 4.04 profit factor and 24.54% maximum relative equity drawdown (USD 61.39 in that episode).
This period was used during calibration. It is not out-of-sample validation or a live account result. The model uses generated ticks. The displayed balance curve follows native deal record order; it is not a chronological floating-equity series.
News and compatibility
Version 1.006 supports real and demo hedging accounts. When UseMQL5Calendar is enabled, connected operation queries the native MetaTrader 5 calendar for US NFP, CPI and interest-rate decisions, in trade-server time. Missing, stale or insufficient calendar coverage pauses creation of new orders. Existing pending orders can still execute; position management continues.
In the Strategy Tester, or with UseMQL5Calendar disabled, the embedded news history covers 1 January 2010 to 1 January 2028, exclusive end. Filter windows outside this coverage prevent new entries. Future dates are published schedules and may change; Fed decisions for 2027 are tentative. This history requires manual broker time-zone settings.
AutoGMT retains a two-second startup delay; it does not calculate the time zone automatically. BacktestSpeed uses normal strategy cadence in all modes. These compatibility settings are not offered as test acceleration.
Dynamic sizing considers the monetary value of price movement in the account currency, using broker contract specifications. Drawdown coefficients remain gold-calibrated references. Rounding and minimum volume can exceed an inferred risk reference. Auto strategy selection uses numerical thresholds in the account currency; other currencies or cent accounts require their own settings.
Margin and pending orders
The protection estimates activation margin for all pending orders on the account, including manual and other EAs' orders, plus the candidate order, with 5% headroom on that estimate. If free margin becomes insufficient, the EA can cancel its own most recent pending orders. It does not cancel other EAs' orders or resize volume to force entries.
This rule can reduce activity, especially on small balances, and can conservatively double-count margin already reserved by a broker. Missing margin data pauses new orders without blind cancellation. Losses, gaps, leverage changes and external actions can change margin before the next check; execution and maximum loss are not guaranteed.
Risk and verification
Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Leverage, gaps, slippage, spread and broker specifications can change outcomes and cause losses. Risk inputs do not guarantee a maximum loss.
The test above includes version 1.006 margin protection. Activity depends on the margin budget and broker specifications; signals can be deferred or the EA's pending orders canceled by this protection.
Native calendar data access was checked separately without placing trades. This is not a live-account trading test.
