KING OF PROP — Trade Like a Prop
Ready-made strategy portfolios. Built-in risk management. Full account protection.
⚠️ XAUUSD (gold) only. The EA does not trade any other instrument.
⚠️ Recommended deposit: $1,000 or more. With a smaller balance the EA cannot trade at full capacity, and the risk to the account will be higher.
KING OF PROP is a complete gold trading system built around prop firm rules. It is made for traders who want to pass a challenge and keep their funded account. Choose a portfolio, attach the EA to an XAUUSD chart, and it handles the rest.
Why challenges fail
Most traders lose prop accounts not because of a bad strategy, but because they break the rules:
- one bad session wipes out the daily loss limit;
- after a losing streak, the trader tries to win it back and breaches the max drawdown;
- a trailing drawdown quietly follows the profits up, and the account is closed even though it is still above the starting balance;
- on a good day, the trader doesn't stop and gives it all back.
The prop firm doesn't ask why it happened. One violation means a closed account. KING OF PROP is built so that these rules are enforced by the robot, not by emotions.
How KING OF PROP plays by prop firm rules
- Daily loss limit. The EA constantly tracks the day's loss, including open positions. Once the limit is reached, it closes all trades and stops trading until the next day. There is no chance to revenge trade: trading is simply switched off.
- Max loss, static or trailing. Choose the type your firm uses. In trailing mode, the EA moves the floor up as the account grows, exactly the way the prop firm does.
- Open risk control. Before every new trade, the EA checks how much room is left before the limit. If the new Stop Loss could push the account past the limit, the trade is not opened. Seven strategies running at once will never turn into seven extra risks.
- Daily profit target (optional). Once the target is hit, the EA locks in the result and stops until tomorrow. A good day stays a good day.
- Calculated from your starting balance. Enter the balance your challenge started with, and all limits are calculated from it, not from the account's old history.
Setting it up for your prop firm
Take your challenge rules and enter them in the inputs:
- starting account balance;
- daily loss limit (for example, 5%);
- max loss (for example, 10%) and its type: static or trailing;
- risk per trade;
- daily profit target, if you want to lock in results.
Tip: set the limits in the EA slightly tighter than your firm's. For example, if the firm's daily limit is 5%, set 4–4.5%. This buffer covers spread, slippage, and any difference in how the EA and the prop firm calculate the numbers.
Challenge, verification, funded account
- Phase 1 and Phase 2. The goal is to reach the profit target without breaking the limits. Use a risk per trade that gets you to the target in a reasonable time, and the daily target will help you keep your profits.
- Funded account. The goal is to keep the account and get payouts. Lower the risk per trade: stability matters more than speed here.
One EA takes you through every stage. Only the risk settings change.
Getting started
- Choose a portfolio. The Strategy portfolio input contains ready-made strategy portfolios. Pick any of them.
- Test it with your broker. Quotes, spreads, and commissions differ between brokers, so before trading live, run the chosen portfolio in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester on your broker's or prop firm's data with your account balance. This shows you how the portfolio behaves in your conditions and helps you choose the one that suits you best.
- Enter your challenge rules in the settings. Starting balance, daily and max loss, risk per trade. You can start with the default values.
- Attach the EA to an XAUUSD chart. From there, the engine works on its own: it finds entries, sets the Stop Loss, manages the position, and makes sure the account stays within your limits.
A portfolio, not a single bet
Each portfolio runs up to seven gold strategies at once, each with its own logic and its own magic number. The strategies are designed for different market regimes: some work in calm periods, others during high volatility. While one strategy waits for its entry conditions, the others keep working, so the portfolio doesn't sit idle when the market changes character.
Most strategies in the portfolios use a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio: the Take Profit is three times larger than the Stop Loss. One winning trade covers three losing ones, so the account can grow even when fewer than half of the trades close in profit. For a prop challenge this matters a lot: the profit target can be reached without a large number of trades and without raising risk.
Clean trading
- No martingale
- No grid
- Every trade has a Stop Loss
- 1:3 R:R in most strategies
None of this is prohibited by prop firms, and none of it creates hidden risk that could suddenly close the account.
