Candlestick Scanner MT5 watches many symbols and timeframes for 21 candlestick patterns and shows the latest one in each cell of a panel. A context filter can keep only patterns at a recent low (bullish) or high (bearish), and a statistics table shows what price did after each pattern in your own history, next to the same measure for any bar.

It works on closed bars only, so a cell never changes after its bar has closed.

  • Added here: Three White Soldiers, Three Black Crows, Tweezer Bottom and Top, Bullish and Bearish Marubozu, Dragonfly Doji, Gravestone Doji

What it does

  • Panel of symbols (Market Watch or your list) by timeframes (H1, H4 and D1 by default, any you choose). Each cell shows the latest pattern, its direction and how many bars ago; fresh ones are highlighted; the tooltip lists every pattern of that bar.
  • Context filter: only patterns whose bars make the lowest low (bullish) or highest high (bearish) of the last 10 bars (adjustable, or off).
  • Alerts when a cell shows a new pattern: pop-up, sound, push, e-mail; alerts of the same second come as one message.
  • Click a cell to open that symbol and timeframe.

Statistics, shown as they are

  • For each pattern: how many there were in the bars loaded, how often the close 5 bars later (adjustable) had moved in the pattern's direction, and the average move in ATR(14).
  • The same for any bar, up and down, as the baseline. A pattern is only interesting where it differs from that baseline.
  • On broker history most patterns land close to the baseline. The table lets you check this for your own symbols instead of trusting a promise. It is past behaviour, not a forecast.

  • Symbols - Market Watch - or your list; broker suffix found automatically
  • Timeframes - H1,H4,D1
  • Pattern groups on or off (Doji and Marubozu off by default: they are frequent)
  • Context: at the low/high of the last 10 bars (0 = off)
  • Bars each cell loads - 2000; fresh - 1 bar
  • Statistics table - on; bars after the pattern - 5
  • Panel corners, font size, colours

Questions

  • Does it repaint? No. Patterns are decided on closed bars and never changed afterwards.
