Ascend Expert
Ascend Expert is an advanced MT5 Expert Advisor built around independent BUY and SELL cycles, intelligent trade distribution, and controlled profit harvesting.
It is not designed to depend on aggressive multiplier recovery or endless position accumulation.
Instead, Ascend distributes entries across favorable and unfavorable price movement, manages each direction independently, and continuously works to reduce the distance required for the cycle to recover and reach its target.
Core concept
BUY and SELL are managed as two independent trading cycles.
Each side has its own:
- trades
- lot exposure
- floating result
- realized Fund
- Cycle value
- profit target
This allows Ascend to manage market movement in both directions without forcing all positions into one recovery structure.
Partial Profit system
One of Ascend's main features is Partial Profit.
Instead of waiting for the entire basket to close, Ascend can identify the most profitable positions inside the active direction and close a selected number of them when their combined profit reaches the configured Partial Profit target.
The realized result is transferred into the current Cycle Fund.
This creates an important effect:
profitable positions can be harvested while the remaining cycle continues.
The system can then use future market movement and new qualified entries to gradually reduce the remaining burden of the cycle.
Trade distribution instead of classic multiplier dependence
Ascend is designed around trade distribution and distance control, not around continuously multiplying lot size after every adverse move.
The EA can add positions on both:
- negative-side movement
- positive-side movement
depending on the configured distance conditions and the current directional structure.
Positive-side entries can return to the Start Lot, while negative-side entries may use the configured Add Lot progression up to Max Lot.
This gives the trader control over exposure without requiring a classic Martingale recovery sequence.
The objective is to distribute positions intelligently rather than concentrate risk in a rapidly growing lot sequence.
Independent signal engines
Ascend includes multiple signal engines that can be selected directly from the dashboard:
- Ichimoku
- MACD
- Moving Average
- Bollinger Bands
The signal engine determines when a new AUTO opportunity is considered.
Optional DIFF and RANK filters
Signal generation can be further controlled using the optional filtering layer.
DIFF evaluates Main Trend / strength alignment.
RANK provides an additional confirmation layer.
Both filters can be enabled or disabled independently.
If both are OFF, Ascend can operate directly from the selected signal engine.
This allows the trader to choose between a more selective trading style and a more active entry style.
Manual trades become part of the cycle
Ascend is not limited to AUTO entries.
Trades opened from the built-in Manual panel can participate in the same BUY or SELL cycle managed by the Expert Advisor.
This means the user can intervene manually without creating a completely separate management structure.
Pending orders are also integrated
Pending orders created through the Ascend dashboard are integrated into the system.
Once activated, the resulting position joins the corresponding directional cycle and is managed together with the other Ascend positions.
Cycle Fund
Ascend separates:
FLOAT — current floating result
FUND — realized result accumulated during the current directional cycle
CYCLE — Fund + Float
The Cycle Target is evaluated from the combined cycle result rather than from floating profit alone.
This means Partial Profit and manually realized Ascend positions can continue contributing to the same cycle objective.
Independent BUY and SELL targets
BUY and SELL have separate Cycle Targets.
One side can reach its target and close independently while the opposite side remains active.
This is especially useful in markets that alternate between directional movement and retracement.
Controlled lot management
Ascend provides:
- Start Lot
- Add Lot
- Max Lot
- Negative Distance
- Positive Distance
The user therefore controls both entry spacing and lot progression.
When Add Lot is set to zero, the EA can operate with fixed lot sizing.
Distance-controlled entries
Ascend does not simply open another position whenever a signal appears.
New entries must also satisfy the configured distance rules relative to existing positions.
This helps reduce unnecessary clustering of entries around the same price area.

Hedging account required
Ascend Expert is designed for MT5 Hedging accounts.
BUY and SELL positions are managed independently, so Netting accounts are not suitable for the intended operation.

Ascend Expert is a trading system and risk-management tool, not a guarantee of profit.
Market conditions can change, drawdown is possible, and every user should test the Expert Advisor in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before using it with real funds.
Lot size, distance settings and account capitalization should always be selected according to the trader's own risk tolerance.
