Position sizing
Eur Forge provides two position-sizing methods.
Balance Risk Percent calculates the trade size according to account balance, selected risk percentage and stop distance.
Fixed Lots uses a constant lot size selected by the trader.
The default setting is 1.0% balance risk per trade.
Recommended setup
- Symbol: EURUSD
- Internal signal timeframe: M30
- Default target: 1.5R
- Default risk: 1.0%
- Default maximum open positions: 5
- Recommended balance: $1,000 account-currency equivalent or higher
The EA reads M30 data internally, so the chart timeframe itself does not change the signal logic.
A hedging account is recommended because Eur Forge may manage more than one independent EURUSD position at the same time.
Server time
The default Server Time Model is EET/EEST.
This matches the GMT+2 / GMT+3 server-time structure used during validation. Traders using brokers with a different server clock can select the appropriate advanced time setting.

For the full two-year period, the broker terminal did not provide real-tick history. MT5 therefore generated the older tick stream from downloaded broker historical data.
The 6-month test uses 100% broker real-tick history. The 2-year test is included to provide a longer historical sample and uses generated ticks from downloaded broker history for the period where real ticks were unavailable.
Historical Strategy Tester results are not a guarantee of future performance. Actual trading results can vary because of spreads, commissions, swaps, execution, leverage, liquidity and broker-specific price data.
