GoldenGrid is a grid Expert Advisor for trading gold (XAUUSD) in MetaTrader 5.

Strategy
The EA places a grid of limit orders above and below the current price. The grid step is set as a percentage of price, so it follows the current gold price level. The grid is rebuilt as price moves, and it can be shifted in the direction of the trend, which is detected with EMAs. The accumulated position is closed with a single order at the average price or at a set distance from it.

Trend filter
A built-in market structure engine uses fractals, true swing extremes, and level breaks confirmed by candle close. You can allow new grid entries only in the trend direction on one or several timeframes, such as M5, M30, H4, or any other.

Risk management

• Maximum position size limit in lots.
• Multi-tier hedging: up to 5 tiers triggered by drawdown thresholds, each with its own volume.
• Pause on new entries during drawdown.
• Take profit and stop loss as a percentage of balance.
• Oversized position control by volume and time.
• Weekly trading schedule with daily time windows and position closing at the end of each window.

Requirements

• Symbol: XAUUSD.
• Account type: hedging. On netting accounts, the hedge block is disabled automatically.
• Optimize the parameters in the Strategy Tester for your deposit and broker.
