Gold Matrix does not chase every candle. It evaluates **15 independent signals** every bar — trend structure, volume anomalies, doji clusters, range compression, wick density, daily context, and more. Each signal carries a weighted score. When the total reaches **12 or above**, the EA fires one calculated trade.
Three subsystems work together:

### Risk Management (Built-in, Not Optional)

- **Take Profit**: 4× ATR — 1:2 risk/reward by design
- **Trailing Stop**: activates at 2× ATR in profit, trails at 1.5× ATR
- **Break-even**: moves SL to entry after 1× ATR in profit
- **Circuit Breaker**: 3 consecutive losses → 8-hour cooldown
