TraderDNA EMA Signals is a precision entry indicator built around the proven EMA 7/17 momentum framework. It scans every completed bar for high-probability buy and sell setups and marks them directly on your chart with clear directional arrows, entry lines, stop loss levels, and take profit targets — everything you need to evaluate and place a trade at a glance.

HOW IT WORKS
Two exponential moving averages — EMA 7 (fast) and EMA 17 (slow) — are plotted directly on your chart in distinct colours. Together they define trend direction, momentum strength, and entry timing. Every potential signal must pass all three conditions below before an arrow is drawn.
EMA 7 must be clearly above EMA 17 for a buy, or below for a sell, on both the current and previous bar. Confirms the trend is established — not just crossing.
The EMA must be angled at a minimum of 30° to confirm real momentum. Flat or sideways markets are automatically filtered out — eliminating the most common cause of false signals.
The optional 1-hour EMA bias is checked before any 5-minute signal fires. If the higher timeframe disagrees, the signal is suppressed.
Three Entry Candle Patterns
Once all filters pass, the indicator looks for one of three high-momentum candle patterns on the last closed bar:
Long-wick rejection candle showing price was pushed hard and rejected. The wick must be at least 2× the body size.
Large-body momentum candle covering at least 70% of its total range. Clean, decisive move with minimal wick noise.
Current candle completely swallows the previous bar's body — showing a powerful shift in market control.

Lines extend 8 bars to the right keeping your chart clean. Historical signals remain visible for reviewing past setups and building confidence in the system.
