Candle Body Power is a price action quality indicator that measures the body-to-range ratio of each candle and classifies its strength into three power levels in real time. Instead of just showing direction, it reveals how clean and dominant the current candle movement really is — giving you an instant read on candle body strength before the bar closes.

CLASSIFICATION — THREE POWER LEVELS

The indicator calculates body percentage as: Body Size / (High − Low) × 100%

PL — Power Low (up to 50%) — weak candle body with large wicks. Indecisive price action, no clear directional pressure.

PM — Power Mid (50–80%) — moderate body strength. Directional movement exists but without a dominant impulse.

PH — Power High (80–100%) — strong clean candle body with minimal wicks. Clear dominant pressure in one direction. The highest quality candlestick body signal.

All thresholds are fully customizable to match your instrument and trading style.

VISUALIZATION

Each closed candle receives a class marker (PL / PM / PH) with color coding. The live candle displays a real-time label showing the current class and exact body percentage — this live candle analysis updates on every tick. At high zoom-out levels markers automatically hide to keep the chart clean. Optional candle recoloring by power class is available.

SIMPLE MODE

Compact legend panel showing:
— Current class, direction and body percentage updated live.
— Power H+M statistics — BUY vs SELL dominance over the last N candles as progress bars. This candle momentum analysis shows which side has been producing stronger bodies.
— Auto signal when current candle reaches PH class.

ADVANCED MODE

Full analytical dashboard for deep candlestick body analysis:
— Current dominant — visual BUY/SELL body power balance of the live candle.
— Power H statistics — who produces more high-power candles over the analysis window.
— Power H+M statistics — extended analysis with progress bars.
— Class distribution table — full breakdown of H / M / L split by BUY and SELL direction.
— Combo block — appears when ET or Phase filters are active. Shows filtered statistics only on candles matching your conditions — tightening the analysis sample significantly.
— Configurable signals with popup alerts and push notifications.

CVET SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Candle Body Power works as a standalone candle body strength tool. Its full potential is unlocked when combined with other indicators from the CVET System:

Candle Volatility ET Classifier (free) — adds a candle size volatility filter. Statistics are calculated only on candles matching the selected ET class (Small, Medium, Large or XL), filtering out noise and focusing on meaningful price structure.

Candle Time Phases (free) — adds a candle phase filter. Restricts analysis to a specific development phase of the candle. Phase 2 or Phase 3 typically represent more mature and confirmed price action quality.

Both filters can be combined simultaneously — the combo block then displays statistics for candles satisfying both conditions at once.

PARAMETERS

Mode — Simple (compact) or Advanced (full panel).
Timeframe — indicator operates only on the selected target period.
Classification thresholds — BP_Low_Max sets the PL boundary, BP_Mid_Max sets the PM boundary. Everything above is PH.
Colors — individual settings for each power class and BUY/SELL direction.
Display — toggle markers, live label, legend panel and candle recoloring.
Signal (Advanced) — minimum class threshold, trend or reversal mode, popup and push alerts.
ET Classifier filter — minimum ET class for filtered statistics. Requires Candle Volatility ET Classifier on the same chart.
Candle Phase filter — target phase for filtered statistics. Requires Candle Time Phases on the same chart.
Statistics window — number of bars for legend calculations.
Zoom thresholds — control when markers reduce or hide based on visible bar count.
