## TheMegathron Scalper — Triple-Confirmed Entry Signals for Gold

TheMegathron Scalper is a professional-grade entry indicator for MetaTrader 5,
purpose-built for XAUUSD scalping and intraday trading. Three separate confirmation
layers — each targeting a different class of false signal — must agree before a
single arrow appears on your chart.
Tested on XAUUSD M1/M5 data from 2023 to 2026. Default parameters work
out of the box. No configuration required to get started.

### How It Works
#### Layer 1 — Volatility-Adaptive Trailing Stop
The first layer tracks momentum using a dynamic trailing stop that adjusts
automatically to current market volatility. The stop can only move in one
direction — it never retraces. A signal fires **only when price makes a
decisive cross**, confirming a genuine momentum shift rather than a
noise-driven fluctuation.
This single mechanic filters out the vast majority of whipsaw entries seen
in standard crossover-based systems.
#### Layer 2 — Trend Bias Filter
A medium-term trend line is computed bar-by-bar without any external
indicator dependency, ensuring consistent results across all brokers and
data feeds.
The rule is simple:
- **BUY signals** are only shown when price is in a bullish position relative to the trend.
- **SELL signals** are only shown when price is in a bearish position relative to the trend.
In practice this eliminates the majority of counter-trend entries that occur
during the sideways consolidation phases common in gold intraday trading.
#### Layer 3 — Multi-Timeframe Confirmation
Before displaying a signal, the indicator independently evaluates trend direction
on two configurable higher timeframes (default: M5 and M15 when trading M1).
All three timeframes must agree on direction for the signal to be shown.
When a flip occurs on the current timeframe but the higher timeframes disagree,
the signal is silently suppressed. A yellow **⚠** warning marker is placed on the
chart and a separate alert fires — useful as a "move stop to breakeven" notification
for any open position.
This layer alone eliminates entries against the dominant trend structure, the single
most common cause of avoidable losses in scalping.

Every signal produced by TheMegathron Scalper is available to your Expert Advisor
through standard `iCustom()` buffer calls — no additional code inside the indicator
is required. All three confirmation layers are applied internally, so the signal
buffers only contain entries that have already passed every filter.

as a separate PDF/MD file with your purchase.

- This is an **indicator**, not an EA. It does not place or manage trades.
- Signals are generated on **bar close** — never trade the currently forming bar.
- The indicator does **not repaint**. Once a bar closes, its signal state is final.
- Optimized for XAUUSD. Other symbols may require ATR multiplier adjustment.
