🎯 SESSION BREAKOUT WITH 4-COMPONENT SCORING
The EA identifies session high/low ranges and waits for a confirmed breakout. Four independent scoring components must agree before any trade opens:

Trades only during the highest-volume hours (GMT 7–17) when Gold moves with conviction. A lunch exclusion zone (GMT 12–15) blocks the low-liquidity chop that kills breakout EAs — omitting this single filter costs $48K in backtesting.

- Gold is volatile. 25.66% max equity drawdown is aggressive but the account never went below starting balance over 2 years (Balance DD Absolute: $0.00). Risk-based sizing at 1.5% self-corrects through drawdowns.
- News Filter uses MT5 built-in Economic Calendar — works on live/demo only (not in Strategy Tester). Backtest results are WITHOUT news filtering, so live performance is expected to improve.
- Discord alerts: add https://discordapp.com and https://discord.com to MT5 → Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest.
- Broker spread matters. Results above are from OANDA. The MQL5 Strategy Tester demo broker uses wider spreads, which will show lower returns. For best performance, use a low-spread ECN broker.
