LIMITED FREE RELEASE
This Expert Advisor is temporarily available free of charge. The free release may end at any time.
If you decide to test it, I would greatly appreciate an honest review based on your experience with the EA.
I am also particularly interested in promising parameter sets found on different symbols and timeframes. Please include the symbol, timeframe, test period, number of trades and modelling method so the results can be reproduced.
I am currently working on a new Expert Advisor that is in private development. Users who provide particularly useful testing feedback may be offered private access to this new EA.
Liquidity Sentinel
Liquidity Sentinel is an H1 Expert Advisor built around a clear sequence: liquidity sweep, price reclaim, structural confirmation and controlled execution.
Instead of reacting immediately when price reaches a level, the EA waits for evidence that liquidity has been taken and that price has reclaimed the relevant area. A trade is considered only when the complete sequence is present. If the setup remains incomplete, the EA stays out of the market.
This makes Liquidity Sentinel intentionally selective. The strategy is designed for traders who prefer fewer, clearly defined setups rather than continuous market exposure.
There is no martingale, grid or averaging down. Each trade is opened with predefined risk and managed independently.
How the Strategy Works
Liquidity Sentinel looks for situations in which price sweeps an important area and then moves back through it. The EA does not treat the sweep itself as an entry signal.
It first waits for a reclaim and then applies structural confirmation before allowing a position to be opened. Stop Loss and Take Profit are defined when the trade is created, and additional risk and position-management rules can be configured through the EA inputs.
The basic trading sequence is:
-
identify a liquidity sweep;
-
wait for price reclaim;
-
require structural confirmation;
-
open the trade with predefined SL and TP;
-
manage the position according to the selected settings.
If the required conditions do not align, no trade is taken.
Instruments and Presets
Liquidity Sentinel was developed primarily for H1 trading and includes tested configurations for three different markets:
-
USDJPY;
-
GDAXI / DAX;
-
XAUUSD / Gold.
Optional preset files for these instruments are available in the Comments section and can be used as starting points for testing.
The three configurations have also been evaluated together as a multi-instrument portfolio to study the effect of diversification across FX, an equity index and gold.
Advanced users can test the strategy on additional symbols or timeframes using their own historical data and optimization process.
Because contract specifications, spreads, commissions and historical price data differ between brokers, results can also differ between trading environments.
Historical Testing
Liquidity Sentinel has been evaluated over approximately six years of historical data using Every tick based on real ticks modelling.
Testing has also been performed with data from IC Markets, XM and Darwinex in order to compare the behaviour of the strategy under different broker environments.
The purpose of this testing is to examine whether the underlying trading logic remains usable across different periods, instruments and data environments rather than relying on one short historical interval.
All results shown on the product page are historical Strategy Tester results and do not guarantee comparable future or live-trading performance.
Risk and Position Management
Liquidity Sentinel uses conventional position and risk-management tools rather than recovery techniques.
Available controls include:
-
fixed-lot or risk-based position sizing;
-
fixed or ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit;
-
spread protection;
-
optional one-trade-per-symbol logic;
-
time-based exits.
The EA does not use position recovery, exposure stacking, grid or martingale logic. Each position has its own predefined risk.
The main strategy and management parameters remain configurable, allowing users to test different combinations without changing the core sweep-reclaim-confirmation logic.
Dashboard and Usage
Liquidity Sentinel includes an on-chart dashboard displaying the current strategy state, filter status, risk parameters and position information.
The dashboard is available during live operation and is automatically disabled in Strategy Tester to allow faster testing and optimization.
The main starting configuration is:
MetaTrader 5
H1 timeframe
Hedging account
Market execution
USDJPY, GDAXI/DAX and XAUUSD are the primary instruments for the supplied configurations.
A VPS can be useful when the EA is intended to run continuously.
Who Is Liquidity Sentinel For?
Liquidity Sentinel is intended for traders who prefer rule-based market-structure trading and are comfortable with a strategy that can remain inactive while waiting for a complete setup.
Its defining feature is not trade frequency but the sequence required before entry: sweep, reclaim and confirmation.
The supplied presets provide practical starting points, while the configurable inputs allow the same underlying logic to be researched on additional instruments and timeframes.
Risk Notice
Trading involves risk and past performance does not guarantee future results.
Backtests, presets and historical results should be treated as research and evaluation tools. Users should test the EA with their own broker data and select position sizing appropriate for their account before considering live trading.
