Hi John, Thanks for your feedback. Let me clarify a few key points. We never claimed these were live-account results or promoted them as signals. The demo account was shown transparently, and the post was about market context, not performance. Smart Stop is not a signal generator. Trading every event mechanically would be a misuse of the tool, and that has been stated repeatedly. The observation about 86% broken stops was shared as a reason to stay selective or step aside, not to take more trades. Position sizing and risk management are intentionally left to the trader. Smart Stop provides stop structure, so risk can be sized correctly within any framework. User feedback is shared as-is, demo or live, without cherry-picking. Testing ideas before going live is a normal and responsible process. You’re right on one thing: discipline and risk management matter far more than any tool. “Chart shows 44.8 pips to the SL, but the Scanner shows 448.0. Is that intended?”
This led to a full review of how distances are displayed.
After fixing pip-size and sector handling across FX, metals, crypto, and indices, one thing became obvious:
👉 Raw numbers alone don’t provide meaningful context.
“40 pips” or “400 points” tells you nothing about how close the stop really is relative to volatility or timeframe.
So version 2.1 introduces a smarter, fully ADR-normalized approach:
✨ New “Dist %” column – distance to SL expressed as %ADR
✨ Clear risk categories (stop danger → very safe)
