EdgeProof Atlas is a multi-market Expert Advisor that runs seven independent trading models on US indices, gold and major forex pairs from a single chart. The models trade different markets at different times of day, so their results are only loosely related and the combined equity curve is smoother than any single model.
Early release price. The price will rise as the live track record grows.
What it trades
- US indices (models A, B): two daily mean-reversion models on NAS100, S&P 500 and Dow 30. One evaluation per day shortly before the index close.
- Gold (models C, D): an intraday session model and a volatility model on XAUUSD.
- Forex (models E, F): two reversion models on EURUSD, GBPUSD and AUDUSD.
- Gold and US indices (model G): an intraday model on XAUUSD, S&P 500, Dow 30 and Nasdaq 100 that opens and closes within the same trading session.
Key features
- One chart for everything: in Portfolio mode the EA manages all seven symbols from one chart. In Chart mode it trades only the symbol it is attached to.
- Works with any broker naming: symbols are detected automatically (for example NAS100, US100, USTEC, NAS100+, XAUUSD.m).
- Notional position sizing for indices: lots are calculated from the contract value, so the exposure is the same at every broker. A sizing table is printed in the Experts log at start-up.
- Every trade has a protective stop or a same-day time exit (model G always closes before the session ends). No martingale, no grid, no averaging, no DLL.
- Filters: high-impact news filter (MQL5 economic calendar), maximum spread filter, Friday entry limits.
- Controlled compounding: lots grow with the balance up to a cap (2x by default).
- Safe execution: checks for margin, volume limits, stop and freeze levels and market sessions before every order.
- Each model uses its own magic number (base + 1..7), so you can track results per model.
Backtest v1.10 (Aug 2022 – Oct 2026, 1-minute OHLC, Portfolio mode)
- Start $5,000, final balance $21,089, profit factor 1.40, 2,399 trades.
- Maximum balance drawdown 12.6% (equity about 15%).
- All seven models finished positive.
Backtest results are hypothetical and do not guarantee future results.
Recommendations
- Account: hedging or netting, recommended balance from $5,000 (index minimum lot sizes require it), leverage 1:100 or higher.
- Run 24/5 on a VPS. Attach to any one chart (for example XAUUSD H1) and set Run mode = Portfolio.
- Allow Algo Trading. For the news filter the terminal must have access to the economic calendar.
- Test in the Strategy Tester with "1 minute OHLC" or "Every tick based on real ticks".
Input parameters
- Run mode: Chart (current symbol only) or Portfolio (all symbols).
- Magic base: model magic = base + 1..7.
- Scale lots with balance / Balance at which the base lots apply / Max multiple: compounding settings.
- High-impact news filter: on/off.
- Server time offset (gold models): difference in hours between your broker's server time and GMT+3 (range -3..+1, default 0).
- US index / Gold / Forex symbols: lists for Portfolio mode, comma-separated.
- Index models A, B: enable, fixed lots (0 = size by notional value), notional multiple of the balance, daily evaluation time, Friday filter, news window.
- Gold models C, D: enable, base lots, maximum spread, news window.
- FX models E, F: enable, base lots, maximum spread, Friday cut-off hour, news window.
- Model G: enable, run on gold, run on US indices, gold base lots, index base lots (0 = size by notional value).
