ZIU Tokyo is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that trades XAUUSD (Gold) on the 1-minute chart. It is the sister product of ZIU 9:48 NY: same family, same discipline, a different session. The bot evaluates one setup per day at the Tokyo open (09:50 Tokyo time, 00:50 GMT) and manages the trade with a fixed stop loss, two take profits, break-even and a forced end-of-day close.
The entry decision combines market structure on several timeframes at the Tokyo open. The entry logic is fixed inside the bot; the user configures risk and trade management.
KEY FEATURES
One setup per day at the Tokyo open. Tokyo has no daylight saving time, so the window is fixed in GMT all year. The bot converts the broker's clock automatically.
Optional second entry. On some days a later setup appears (until 02:03 GMT). It can be switched off with one input. Positions are never stacked: at most one trade open at a time and at most two trades per day.
Stop loss and final take profit sent with the order. The trade is protected at the broker from the first second, even if the terminal disconnects.
Two take profits. TP1 at 1R closes 50% of the position; the rest runs to TP2 at 2R with its stop loss moved to +20 pips. Both are configurable, or use a single TP (TP1 only), like ZIU 9:48 NY.
Break-even. Early break-even after 70 pips in favour (stop to entry plus 10 pips to cover the spread). After TP1, the stop of the rest moves to entry plus 20 pips.
End-of-day close. Any open position is closed at 15:00 New York time, all year. No overnight risk.
Three sizing modes. Fixed lot, fixed dollars per trade, or percentage of balance (default 1%). The lot is calculated from the stop loss distance, with a configurable maximum lot as a safety cap.
Automatic broker time detection. The bot reads the weekend gaps of the price history to detect the server offset and whether the broker applies European daylight saving time. Manual override available.
No late entries. If MetaTrader starts after the entry minute, the bot rebuilds its state from history and waits for the next day. It never opens a trade at a price that was not validated.
Configuration validator. Inconsistent inputs pause the bot with a message on the chart; it resumes by itself once corrected.
Pre-trade checks. Free margin, broker stops and freeze levels, volume limits and terminal permissions are checked before every order.
No martingale, no grid, no averaging.
REQUIREMENTS
MetaTrader 5, hedging or netting account.
Symbol XAUUSD or GOLD (any suffix). On other symbols the bot stays idle.
Chart timeframe M1.
VPS running 24/5 strongly recommended.
Minimum recommended balance: 1,000 USD for 1% risk with the minimum lot of 0.01.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
The default inputs are the validated configuration. To reproduce the backtest exactly, use mode 0 (fixed lot) with 33 units x 0.01 = 0.33 lots, or keep mode 2 with 1% risk.
INPUTS
Operational: Use Magic Number, Magic Number.
Time / Broker: Server-GMT offset (-99 = autodetect), Server applies EU DST.
Risk / Sizing: Mode (0 fixed lot, 1 $ per trade, 2 % of balance), % of balance, $ per trade, Position units, Lot per unit, Maximum lot.
Stop Loss / Take Profits: Stop loss in pips, Active TPs (1 or 2), TP1 and TP2 as multiples of R, % closed at TP1.
Break-even: Early break-even pips, Break-even lock pips, SL after TP1.
Second entry: Allow a 2nd entry.
End of Day close: Close at end of day, Close hour (New York, default 15:00).
