Overview
Drill Pump 51 is a complete, multi-system Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (gold) on the H1 timeframe in MetaTrader 5. It combines a trend-breakout growth engine (PUMP), an adaptive two-way Grid and an optional Emergency spike system, all running under layered account protection. It is designed for a 3,000 USD account and works out of the box with its default settings: attach it to one XAUUSD H1 chart, enable Algo Trading, and it manages entries, exits and protection by itself.
How it works
• PUMP (main growth engine, buy only). Opens a buy only when everything agrees: price above EMA 50 on H1, H4 and D1 and above EMA 20 on W1, D1 ADX at 25 or higher, H1 RSI at 55 or higher, and price breaking the highest high of the last 20 H4 candles. The stop-loss is 3.5 x H1 ATR. The lot is calculated so the trade risks about 600 USD, between 0.03 and 0.30 lots, with an absolute cap of 750 USD risk per trade. One PUMP position at a time.
• PUMP trade management. At +225 USD floating profit the stop moves to the entry price (breakeven). A tiered profit lock then secures 50% of the peak from +450 USD, 70% from +900 USD and 80% from +1,500 USD.
• Grid (adaptive, two-way). Opens a buy stack when price is above the H1 EMA 200 and the D1 EMA 50, or a sell stack only after a deep break (at least 2 x ATR below the D1 EMA). Maximum 3 positions, spaced 1.5 x ATR apart (300-1,500 points), each addition 20% smaller than the previous one. The stack closes in profit once it has reached +100 USD and gives back 2 USD.
• Emergency (optional, off by default). After an extreme H1 candle (1.8 x the normal ATR or more) it opens one counter-trade (buy after a crash, sell after a spike) with its own stop and profit lock.
• Buy / Sell (optional, off by default). Classic single-position trend systems scored on H1, H4, D1, RSI and momentum.
• Systems working together. While a PUMP trade is open, other systems cannot open new trades, except Grid in the same direction when Grid With PUMP is on.
Protection layers
| Layer | What it does |
| PUMP hard cap | No PUMP trade can risk more than 750 USD |
| PUMP daily loss limit | PUMP stops for the day after 750 USD realized loss; at most 2 trades a day while PUMP is losing that day |
| Grid position stop | Closes any Grid position losing 200 USD (up to 260 USD in high volatility) |
| Grid stack stops | Closes the whole stack at 6 x ATR against its start price or at 500 USD loss, whichever comes first |
| Grid guards | No new Grid trades in a volatility spike, weak market regime, wrong side of D1 trend, 15:00-17:00 danger window, low margin, or after the trend reverses |
| Grid extreme volatility shutdown | Closes all Grid positions when ATR exceeds 2.5 x its normal level |
| Grid circuit breakers | 3 losing stacks (net -150 USD): pause 12-48 h. 7-day loss of 300 USD: Grid off 10 days. 21-day loss of 500 USD: Grid off 14 days |
| Daily Breaker | If the day's loss reaches 25% of the day's starting balance, no new trades until the next day |
| Full Recovery | Halves all lot sizes when equity falls 500 USD below a reached milestone (every 3,000 USD) or below 1,500 USD, until the account recovers |
| Equity Hard Stop | Closes everything if floating loss reaches 10% of balance, then continues normally |
| Profit Bank | Closes everything if equity drops 2,500 USD from its cycle peak, then pauses 6 hours |
| Peak Stagnation Guard | No new equity high for 36 hours: new entries paused 12 hours |
| Loss Cooldown | Last 3 closes net -100 USD or worse: 2-hour pause |
| Peak Decline Stop | After reaching the profit target, stops permanently if 55% of the profit above the target is given back |
| Manual Floor | Optional: stops permanently if equity falls to your floor |
| Margin, spread, hours, Friday, news filters | Block new entries in unsafe conditions |
| Saved state | On a live account, breakers and cooldowns survive a terminal or VPS restart |
