Hi.
My name is Bjørn, and I'm the founder and sole developer behind NoCap FX.
In 2020 during the pandemic, I was diagnosed with cancer.
Being unable to go to work, I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands between treatments, so I started learning about trading and almost immediatly stumbled upon algorithmic trading and found it absolutely fascinating.
As an electrician by trade, I had no background in software development. I started my "learning to code" journey entirely from scratch. After countless online courses, thousands of hours of trial and error coding indicators and EAs, and endless late nights mastering the MQL5 language, I can now say quite confidently that I know how to build robust, automated trading software.
I believe in a no BS approach and honesty, when it comes to my products and expectations. I'm not gonna tell you, that my products will make you rich. I will however, do my best to create realistic trading strategies.

⚙️ Small Update For Night Scalper (V 1.48)
Hi guys,
I always try to listen to your feedback and implement the best ideas, and today someone brought up a great point.
The "Highest Account Size" feature was needlessly complicated and causing some confusion, so I decided to remove it. Moving forward, the auto-lot calculation will simply use your current balance.
To replace it and give you even better risk control, I have added a new input: Account Allocation Percentage.
Now, you can decide exactly what percentage of your account balance Night Scalper is allowed to use for its lot calculations (adjustable from 5% to 100%, in 5% increments).
Why this is useful:
🤝 Multi-EA Setup: Perfect for those of you who want to run other EAs on the same account without Night Scalper hogging all the margin.
🛡 Profit Protection: If you want to keep your earned profits out of the active risk calculations, you can easily scale your percentage down.
I’ll attach the updated setup guide to this message so you can see the new settings.

🚀 Night Scalper V1.46 Major Update is LIVE!
The latest version (V1.46) of Night Scalper is officially approved and ready to download on MQL5.
Like I said, the default AUDNZD limit order strategy is still the absolute gold standard for this strategy.
However, I have unlocked a lot more of the backend and given you new features, to give you more control over backtesting, execution, and risk management.
Here is what’s new in this update:
✅ On-Chart Risk Overview: Added a clean dashboard showing your exact risk parameters in real-time (Risk mode, balance/equity used for lot calculation, and your upcoming lot size).
✅ Experimental Market Orders: Added a new execution mode if you want to use Market Orders instead of the standard Limit Orders, complete with separate Max Spread limits for pre- and post-rollover windows. (Note: Limit orders remain the default and recommended method to avoid slippage).
✅ BUY and SELL Entry Shifts: Added individual BUY and SELL entry shift settings (in points). You can now adjust how aggressive or conservative Night Scalper will place the entries at.
✅ Order Distance Multiplier: Total control over the spacing between your orders. Lower the multiplier to tighten the distance and potentially increase trade frequency.
✅ Trading Window Control: You are no longer restricted to hour blocks. You can now define your pre-rollover and post-rollover trading windows down to the exact minute.
✅ Ask Line Visualizer: Added a toggle to draw the Ask line directly on your chart. This allows you to visually monitor the true rollover spread in real-time and see exactly why trades are (or aren't) triggering.
✅ Custom Profit Compounding: Added a scaling option allowing you to dictate the exact percentage of your total profits to be used when calculating new lot sizes, giving you more control over your growth curve.

⚠️ CRITICAL UPDATE: SYSTEM BUG & APOLOGY
Hi everyone.
I need to address a critical coding error on my end, and I want to be completely transparent about it.
I made a mistake in the logic for the Inp_CloseTradesInProfit parameter. The intention of this setting was that if set to 'true', the timed close function would close all trades at the cutoff time, including profitable ones.
Due to an error in my code, if this setting was true, the EA only closed trades that were in profit, leaving losing trades open, instead of closing them when it should.
Because of my mistake, several of you had losing trades remain open much longer than the risk parameters intended, resulting in unnecessary losses today.
There are no excuses for this. It is a failure on my part and I take full responsibility for the losses this bug caused. It is not the standard I set for myself or my brand.
✅ THE FIX (VERSION 1.45):
I have rewritten the logic, and a patched version of Night Scalper has already been uploaded to MQL5.
Action Required:
1. Please go to your MQL5 terminal and update to the newest version immediately.
2. Ensure all open trades are closed manually if they bypassed your intended time-cutoff.
I am deeply sorry to those of you who took a hit today because of my oversight. I am implementing stricter code review on my end to ensure an error like this does not happen again.

🔥 NIGHT SCALPER UPDATE - NEW VERSION 1.42 ON MQL5 MARKET
Hi everyone.
I just uploaded a new version of Night Salper on the MQL5 market, so make sure to update your version.
Apparently some brokers had their rollover time set to 24:00, which is a time that cannot exist, so the EA set the rollover time to 00:00, which means it basically would trade the whole day. This should be fixed now.
Also added extra checks/protection for pending orders, so they should expire at the correct time now.
I apologies for the frequent updates at the moment, but as the user base grows, bugs and problems are being discovered faster, so I can fix them faster.
