Ehlers Index

The technical indicator "Ehlers Index" was developed based on the results of research by John Ehlers in the field of technical analysis. Ehlers created his own version of the My RSI relative strength indicator. You are presented with one of the versions.
     Customization:
E-line Period = 9, by default.
     Signals:
• Crossing the line of the zero level - indicates a change in trend, if below "0" is a bearish trend, if above "0" is a bullish trend;
• overbought/oversold - when the value is above “120” or below “-120”, respectively;
• divergence / convergence - when the indicator line forms extreme points in the direction opposite to the price movement;
Technical analysis figures and trend lines are applicable to the indicator chart and help to predict with high probability.
The trend on the indicator, as a rule, coincides with the trend on the price chart up to any of the above events.
It is not recommended to buy when the market is already overbought and the indicator line is above the positive range limit equal to "120".
It is not recommended to sell when the market is already oversold and the indicator line is below the negative range limit equal to "-120".
