Hello Sammix, I will keep your idea in mind for a future update. I would like to understand better what's the meaning of TP2 ot TP3 levels, if the TP1 level is reached?

Unless you mean that the user will be able to select either TP1, TP2 or TP3 level and not all of them.

In the new update that is coming in a couple of days, there will be automatic partial closure settings available, that will help to manage receiver copied trades better.

This is what i meant, can we have setting whereby the copier will only copy the entry and stoploss of a trade but will use our own set profit targets to be twice what we are risking on that trade or 3x or 4x whatever we are risking on that trade. So lets say the copied trade has 20pips stoploss, and i set the copier to make my profit target to be 2x my 20pips stoploss, this means the copier will only close partial when the profit is 40pips. Which means if the trade goes in my favor, i want to close partial only when the profit has reached twice what I'm risking on that trade. So whatever the stoploss is, my profit target should be multiplied by 2x or 3x or 4x depends on the settings. I attached a file to explain further

Check this

Trade 1: Stoploss is 50pips, Take Profit target 1 should be 100pips, that is 2x my stoploss.

Trade 2: Stoploss is 15pips, take profit target 1 can be set to be 2x the risk. This means my partial close will be 30pips.

In this case, i am not following the transmitter's profit targets but I'm using their stoploss to determine the multiplier of my own profit targets. Meaning for example, a 25pips stoploss trade should give me 50pips profit if the trade goes in my favour, etc.

I guess u understand the concept?

Non the less, this is a fantastic copier as it is already!!. You did a great job with a whole lot of features.

So, except the TP1, TP2, TP3 targets, we should also have partial closure percentage levels for each TP1, TP2, TP3 target, right?

Otherwise how the EA will know what part of the trade should close at TP1 or TP2 level?

A new setting is coming with the upcoming update, the TP based on Risk/Reward ratio, that will allow the receiver Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5 to apply the take profit level of the receiver copied trades, based on the copied stop loss of the original transmitter trade. That is addition with the new automatic partial closure settings, will allow you to apply different take profit and partial closure levels to your copied trades.

Eleni Anna Branou

Hello dear friends,

Local Trade Copier EA MT5 had a major update with many changes and additions and I strongly advise you to make this update with no open trades on the receiver account side, when all receiver copied trades have been closed.

1. Copy Long/Short true/false settings are now applied correctly to pending orders too.

2. Split Copied Trades in Parts setting works smoothly now, overriding maximal volume issues on the receiver accounts.

3. Maximum Number of Copied Magic Numbers and Maximum Number of Copied Symbols settings have been added, that allow to copy only a certain number of magic numbers or symbols at the same time on the receiver accounts.

4. Add/Subtract Points in TP/SL Levels settings have been added that can add or subtract certain number of points in the TP/SL levels of the original transmitter trades on the receiver copied trades.

5. The option not to copy transmitter trades to the receiver side if these don't have an applied stop loss level, has been added.

6. A Copy Market Trades=true/false setting has been added, allowing the user to copy only pending orders and not market trades.

7. Copying Delay in Seconds and Closure Delay in Seconds settings have been added, that allow the user to copy and close the transmitter trades to the receiver side with a certain number of seconds delay.

8. All lot size types that were previously calculated based on the account's balance can now also be calculated based on the account's equity.

9. A Reopen Closed Copied Trades setting has been added that allows the user to reopen receiver closed copied trades instantly or at the opening price if these are still running in the transmitter side.

10. Take profit can now be applied on the receiver copied trades based on risk/reward ratio of the copied stop loss.

11. New automatic partial closure settings have been added, that allow the user to close automatically and partially all receiver copied trades at 3 % take profit and 3 % stop loss levels for 3 % levels of the copied lot size.

12. Finally, a new Maximum Daily Drawdown % setting has been added that will close all receiver copied trades and pause copying until the next day, when it is reached. This will allow users to work with LTC on prop firms more effectively.

** I strongly advise you to make this update with no open trades on the receiver account side, when all receiver copied trades have been closed. **

Hello, yes you need to use the Special Symbols setup in the receiver settings, so in your case you need to put in the receiver side LTC settings:

Special Symbol 1: DE40,GER40.cash

Make sure that you write both symbols as they appear in the Marketwatch, small or capital letters matter, for example is it GER40.cash or GER40.Cash?

Hello, thank you for your quick answer. I put the string "DE40,GER40.cash" into the "Special Symbol 1" Field and now it works.

Hello,

it is really practical tool for copy trade.

But I have one problem with that.

My transmiter account has name of indices is "NAS100" but reciever accout name is "US100.cash". And also other indices has the different name.

How can I copy with these different name? (there is 5 different names between tranmitter and reciver)

Thanks advance

Hello and thank you for you nice comments about Local Trade Copier EA MT5!

I hope you have already found the way to copy these different symbols, using the Special Symbols setup.

So, in your case you must put in the receiver account settings:

Special Symbol 1: NAS100,US100.cash

You can do the same for all other symbols that are different, make sure that you have all small or capital letters correct, for example US100.cash is different from US100.Cash.

Let me know if you need anything else to help you with.

Hi, how do I add a trailing stop to a copied TP?

Hi, how do I add a trailing stop to a copied TP?

Hello, you can't add trailing stop loss to a take profit level that has been copied from the original transmitter trade.

You can either copy the take profit and stop loss levels of the original transmitter trade to the receiver copied trade and then follow all changes in the TP/SL levels that will be made in the original transmitter trade or disable the copying of TP/SL from the original copied trade and apply your own take profit, stop loss and trailing stop loss levels in the receiver copied trade.

If you want NOT to copy the original TP/SL, but to apply your own TP/SL and trailing SL settings in the receiver copied trades, you should put in the receiver settings:

Copy Take Profit=false

Copy Stop Loss=false

Use TP/SL in=Points or Money

and then apply your take profit, stop loss and trailing stop loss levels in Points or in Money with the below settings:

  • Take Profit in Points: The Take Profit level in points, applied on every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false above.

  • Stop Loss in Points: The Stop Loss level in points, applied on every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Break Even Profit in Points: The profit level in points, for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s), in which the EA will move the Stop Loss level to Break Even. This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Start in Points: The level in points that the EA will start Trailing the Stop Loss for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Stop in Points: The Trailing Stop Loss distance in points for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Step in Points: The Trailing Stop Loss Step in points for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.
  • Take Profit in Money: The Take Profit level in money applied on every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false above.

  • Stop Loss in Money: The Stop Loss level in money applied on every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Break Even Profit in Money: The profit level in money for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s), in which the EA will move the Stop Loss level to Break Even. This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Start in Money: The level in money that the EA will start Trailing the Stop Loss for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Stop in Money: The Trailing Stop Loss in money distance for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

  • Trailing Step in Money: The Trailing Stop Loss Step in money for every copied trade opened by the EA on the receiver account(s). This setting is only applied if Copy Take Profit=false and Copy Stop Loss=false above.

You can read all the details about the settings in the settings/inputs guide: https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/745681

Is it possible to insert a positive percentage "120%" on “Partial Closure Take Profit”?

Is it possible to insert a positive percentage "120%" on “Partial Closure Take Profit”?

Is it possible to add points to the copied TP?

You can't insert a number larger than 100 in a percentage setting.

Please read carefully how the automatic partial closure settings work:

    • Partial Closure Take Profit % 1: The percentage of the take profit distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if take profit is 100 points and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 30 points take profit level is reached.

    • Partial Closure TP Lot Size % 1: The percentage of the trades initial lot size that will be partially closed by the EA, when the above Partial Closure Take Profit % 1 level is reached. For example if there is a 1 initial lot open trade and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the 30% of it, therefore 0.30 lots. The remaining 0.70 lots trade will keep running.

    • Partial Closure Take Profit % 2: The percentage of the take profit distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if take profit is 100 points and 50 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 50 points take profit level is reached.

    • Partial Closure TP Lot Size % 2: The percentage of the trades initial lot size that will be partially closed by the EA, when the above Partial Closure Take Profit % 2 level is reached. For example if there is a 1 initial lot open trade and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the 30% of it, therefore another 0.30 lots. The remaining 0.40 lots trade will keep running.

    • Partial Closure Take Profit % 3: The percentage of the take profit distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if take profit is 100 points and 70 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 70 points take profit level is reached.

    • Partial Closure TP Lot Size % 3: The percentage of the trades initial lot size that will be partially closed by the EA, when the above Partial Closure Take Profit % 3 level is reached. For example if there is a 1 initial lot open trade and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the 30% of it, therefore an extra 0.30 lots. The remaining 0.10 lots trade will keep running.

    • Partial Closure Stop Loss % 1: The percentage of the stop loss distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if stop loss is 100 points and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 30 points stop loss level is reached.

    • Partial Closure SL Lot Size % 1: The percentage of the trades initial lot size that will be partially closed by the EA, when the above Partial Closure Stop Loss % 1 level is reached. For example if there is a 1 initial lot open trade and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the 30% of it, therefore 0.30 lots. The remaining 0.70 lots trade will keep running.

    • Partial Closure Stop Loss % 2: The percentage of the stop loss distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if stop loss is 100 points and 50 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 50 points stop loss level is reached.

    • Partial Closure SL Lot Size % 2: The percentage of the trades initial lot size that will be partially closed by the EA, when the above Partial Closure Stop Loss % 2 level is reached. For example if there is a 1 initial lot open trade and 30 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the 30% of it, therefore another 0.30 lots. The remaining 0.40 lots trade will keep running.

    • Partial Closure Stop Loss % 3: The percentage of the stop loss distance in which the EA will close partially all receiver copied trades. For example if stop loss is 100 points and 70 is inserted in this setting, the EA will close partially the trade when the 70 points stop loss level is reached.

The remaining 0.10 lots trade will keep running.

As for adding points to the copied TP level, yes it is possible with the newly added settings:

    • Add/Subtract Points in TP Level: With this setting you can add or subtract certain number of points in the copied take profit levels. For this setting to work Copy Take Profit must be enabled and Take Profit Multiplier=1. For example if you put 20 in this setting, a 100 points transmitter take profit will be copied as 120 points in the receiver side. If you put -30 a 100 points transmitter take profit level will be copied as 70 points in the receiver side.

    Hello,

Could you please add or change the Emergency Account Protection.

Right now we can set the copier to copy only when the transmitter has a DD BIGGER than x %.

that means when the transmitter has a poor performance.

Isn't it more useful to copy only when the transmitter has a good risk management AKA DD LOWER than x % ?

Hello, after the last MT5 update there seems to be a problem with MQL5 account login in windows 7 computers and VPSs.

You can read about it here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/448809

It is highly advisable to upgrade to a newer windows operating system, since windows 7 is 14 years old.

Make sure that you are logged into your MQL5 account in MT5 >> Tools >> Options >> Community tab with your sasori0623 login and then go to My Purhases in the Navigator window, under Market and install your Local Trade Copier EA MT5 again.

I hope you are doing well. I've set my lot size type to "Risk per Trade in Money" and it works perfectly for currencies.

However, when I place a trade on XAUUSD. This does not work. I've set it to risk 100 USD. But the position calculated risks Almost 3000 USD.

Am I perhaps doing something wrong?

    Hello Dmitri,

Risk per Trade in Money works fine in all instruments, unless your broker has something different in the specifications of XAUUSD.

Post a screenshot of your receiver account terminal, with a XAUUSD trade copied and your mouse over the SL level that shows a $3000 risk please.

Also send me your receiver account settings as a set file to check them.
