I would like to copy transactions made in a JPY account to a USD account and adjust the number of lots to make the margin rate  same for both accounts.

Is it possible? Which parameters should I change?

Hello, if you use the default 'Proportional by Balance' lot size type, the calculation of the receiver lot size will be automatic and proportional to the transmitter account's lot size.

Hello, you need to be careful with small or capital letters because they are important.

Also the suffix of the receiver account is .s and not ,s so you need to put in the receiver LTC settings:

Suffix of the Transmitter Account: -ECN

Suffix of the Receiver Account: .s

If you wanted to copy only EURUSD you could also use:

Special Symbol 1: EURUSD-ECN,EURUSD.s

But do not use both, either the first solution or the 2nd.

Fix lot copy

Hi, If I want to copy the fix lot 0.03 0.05 and 0.08lot (Max, no more) from transmitter . How do I set up? Do I need to open 3 charts and set 0.03, 0.05 and 0.08 separately?

BTW, if I want to copy specail lot size but they are not proportional, e.g. 0.02, 0.05. 0.06. How should I set up EA on receiver?

Do you mean that you want to copy the 0.03 0.05 and 0.08 transmitter lot sizes with the same lot size in the receiver account, but not copy transmitter lot sizes above 0.08?

Also what do you mean by saying that you want to copy with 'special lot size' 0.02, 0.05 and 0.06? Are these the receiver lot sizes that you want to use? What are the corresponding transmitter lot sizes for these trades?

Please explain in more detail what you want in order to be able to help you. Give me some lot size examples, for instance when the transmitter opens 0.03 the receiver to copy 0.05, when the transmitter opens ... and so on.

Chart1 lot size: 0.01, 0.02,0.02,0.03,0.05,0.08,1

Chart2 lot size: 0.01, 0.02,0.02,0.05,0.06,0.09,1

MT4-2, Receiver 1 

If I want to copy only from chart1 by 3 different lot size: 0.03,0.05,0.08 lot from transmitter 0, how should set up in Receiver EA? Do I need to set up three charts in MT4-2 and set fix lot size 0.03, 0.05 and 0.08 separately?

MT4-3, Receiver 2 

If I want to copy only from chart 2 by 3 different lot size: 0.02,0.05,0.06 lot from transmitter 0, how should set up in Receiver EA? Do I need to set up three charts in MT4-3 and set fix lot size 0.02, 0.05 and 0.06 separately? Pls note the 0.02lot also exist in Chart1. Hello Terry, first answer my private messages I have sent to you here in MQL5.com, we don't have to do all this through the comments section, its quite confusing for other users.

I still don't understand what do you want to copy from Transmitter 0 / Chart 1 to Receiver 1. Do you want to copy every transmitter trade with 3 different lot sizes? So the 0.01 transmitter trade to copy it as 0.03, as 0.05 and as 0.08?

Or you want to copy only the Transmitter 0 trades from 0.03 to 0.08 and DO NOT copy the trades below 0.03 and above 0.08? Also with what lot size do you want to copy these transmitter trades to the receiver side, with the same lot size?

If it is that second thing you want, to copy only the Transmitter 0 trades from 0.03 to 0.08 with the same lot size and DO NOT copy the trades below 0.03 and above 0.08 you need to put in the receiver LTC settings:

Magic Numbers to Copy: ... (the magic number of Transmitter 0 / chart 1 trades)

Lot Size Type: Same Lot Size

Ignore Transmitter Lot Size Below: 0.03

Ignore Transmitter Lot Size Above: 0.08

The same goes for the Transmitter 0 / Chart 2. But lets solve the first set of trades first and then we will go to the other issue.

Hello, this is not normal if your setup is properly done and you have a good connection of your transmitter and receiver terminals with the brokers, a powerful computer or VPS and a good internet connection.

The only reason that would justify this delay is if you use the 'Better Price' setting in the receiver settings. With this setting enabled, the receiver will not copy the transmitter trades instantly but it will wait for your 'Better Price Difference in Points' setting to be reached.

For perfect copying you need a good copier, which is Local Trade Copier EA, good brokers with fast trade execution, good latency to these brokers, a good internet connection and a powerful enough PC or VPS that can handle your open MT4/5 terminals.

When all these are good, copying is done under 0.5 seconds as you usually observe. When something of these factors is lagging, copying and closing of your trades can take a little longer.
