If any of your brokers use suffixes in their symbols, such as EURUSD.r or EURUSD+, watch the second part of the quick setup video below (starting at 1:30), which explains how to configure the suffix settings:


For example, if your transmitter account has the symbol EURUSD.r and your receiver account has the symbol EURUSD+, configure the receiver Local Trade Copier EA settings as follows:

If you are copying between accounts with the same broker, and both transmitter and receiver accounts have a symbol like EURUSDm, you still need to configure the suffix settings:

Many thanks. I was able to download it. Now I need help to put it to work. Lets say I want to use it to copy trades from and EA running in XAUSD, I should put your EA in another plain XAUSD chart and your EA will copy all trades in this instrument? If I have 2 different EA running on XAUSD charts, your EA will copy both? And if I want to copy trades in XAUSD andGBPUSD, I must put your EA in XAUSD and GBPSUD plain charts? TIA

You need to attatch only 1 Local Trade Copier EA on 1 chart of the transmitter account, any chart of any symbol and then attach only 1 Local Trade Copier EA on 1 chart of the receiver, any chart of any symbol and it will copy all trades from all symbols.

Then follow the setup process outlined in the quick setup video below. Pay special attention to the second part after 1:30 if your brokers have any suffixes. Additionally, refer to the third part of the video for instructions on copying special symbols.

Hello, yes it is possible to use 'Better Price' and 'Reverse Copying' settings at the same time and they will work as follows:

A reversed sell trade that it is copied as a buy in the receiver side, it will be copied at the same or lower price and a reversed buy trade that will be copied as a sell in the receiver side, it will be copied at the same or lower price.

Hello, and thank you very much for your purchase!

Yes, you can copy the comment of the original transmitter trades to the receiver side by configuring the following in the transmitter Local Trade Copier EA settings:

Transmitter Comment: #

This will copy the original trade comment to the receiver's trades.

If you want to copy the magic number of the transmitter trades as a comment in the receiver trades instead, you can use:

Transmitter Comment: %

This will insert the magic number of the transmitter trade into the comment field of the receiver trade.

Please note that this setting must be configured only in the transmitter EA—it’s the only input required on that side.

At the moment, it is not possible to copy both the original comment and the magic number at the same time, but this is something I plan to include in a future update of Local Trade Copier EA.

If you want the receiver account to copy the transmitter trades with the 1/20th of the original lot size, configure these settings in the receiver Local Trade Copier EA:

Lot Size Type: Multiplier

Multiplier: 0.05

You can't copy between 2 trading account and MetaTrader terminals with MQL5 VPS, because you can only have 1 trading account migrated on your 1 MQL5 VPS subscription.

Both the transmitter and receiver accounts and terminals must be installed on the same windows computer or the same windows VPS.

What do you mean?

If you perform your transmitter to receiver setup, the receiver Local Trade Copier EA will copy all open transmitter trades at their current levels.

If you don't want to copy currently open transmitter trades but only new trades, then put in the receiver LTC settings:

Copy Current Trades: false

Hello, if your transmitter and receiver MarketWatch server times are different, you need to use this setting below to adjust them in the receiver LTC settings:

  • Transmitter Server Offset Hours: Use this setting when your transmitter and receiver brokers have different Marketwatch server times and you wish to use the 'Copy Current Trades', 'Copy New Trades', 'Copying Expiration in Seconds', and 'Copying Delay in Seconds' settings in the receiver account. This setting determines the time difference between the transmitter's MT4/5 >> View >> Marketwatch time and the receiver's MT4/5 >> View >> Marketwatch server time. For example, if the transmitter's Marketwatch server time is 11:30:00 and the receiver's Marketwatch server time is 14:30:00, you should enter -3 in this setting. Conversely, if the transmitter's Marketwatch server time is 14:30:00 and the receiver's Marketwatch server time is 11:30:00, you should enter +3. Remember to fill in this setting in the receiver EA's settings. 

For example if the transmitter server time is 20:36 and the receiver is 19:36 you need to put in the receiver LTC settings:

Transmitter Server Offset Hours: +1

If the transmitter server time is 19:36 and the receiver is 20:36 you need to put in the receiver LTC settings:

Transmitter Server Offset Hours: -1

Questa impostazione determina la differenza oraria tra l'ora MT4/5 >> Visualizza >> Marketwatch del trasmettitore e l'ora MT4/5 >> Visualizza >> Marketwatch del ricevitore.
