your settings are correct. It will calculate the average Candle Range of the last 20 candles on M15 and if the current range exceeds this value, your EA will be paused.

The calculated values are also shown on the chart with the TaB EA so that you can adjust them if needed.

yes, that's absolutely possible. By default, TaB manages all order types.

But you can also set up a separate TaB EA instance that only manages and closes pending orders:

Note that this will only work if you also set "Perform action X minutes before/after news" to a value > 0 for each desired news impact level:

If you do not want your EA to be removed by TaB while it has open trades, you need to set the parameter highlighted in my screenshot to "false":

thank you for providing the settings - they look fine to me. 

Can you please check the "Experts" tab what it contains when TaB switches to "out-of-time" mode?

Also, make sure that the symbol can still be traded during the specified times. Otherwise the trades cannot be modified. Since you put the TaB EA on an XAGAUD,M1 chart, maybe this symbol cannot be traded when TaB should pause trading?

Hi, I have been using Take a Break without issues for some time now, but today I see that the daily drawdown etc. did not reset. Look at the trades, I hit the max drawdown yesterday on the 1st of the month, now its the 2nd of the month already past 02:00 AM, and it still says that the daily drawdown has been reached. Its not correct!

TaB works with all kind of EAs, including multi-currency ones.

I usually recommend setting up one chart per currency pair and placing the TaB indicator on each chart. The TaB EA will then retrieve the news for each currency and, if configured, only close trades that are actually affected by the news.

Alternatively, you can place the TaB indicator only on the chart with the multi-currency EA and specify the news symbols manually:

In this case, all news events will affect all symbols traded by the multi-currency EA. This means TaB may also close EURUSD trades even when there are only GBP news events.
