This limit is not set in Trade Manager but it is set by the broker and the program reads it from the specification of the symbol.

You can read the max. volume in the symbol specification:

1. Right-click on the symbol in the Market Watch window

2. Select a specification from the menu

3. Find stops level.

Optionally you can set up in Trade Manager the Unlimited Lot value as 'true' (in current version works only for market orders)

but in this situation, if you want to open a position of e.g. 250 lots and the limit is set at 100, then the program will break it into 3 separate orders of 100, 100 and 50 lot.

You can simply adjust the options for each order individually by clicking on the gear icon and in the settings window, enable or disable partial closure for that order.

The buttons on the main panel apply to all open trades. However, this button is located in the panel of the selected order (after pressing the gear icon) where you can "manually" close the selected part of the transaction.

Yes, I thought partial close on the main panel applied to all open positions. It would be helpful to have a partial close (market order) on the Manual Managing Orders panel. That way I could select the order # and close a portion of that open position.

As far as I know, most traders use the modification option directly on the order. It seems to me that the access to the functions is very similar and I wonder if it is worth doing the partial closing option in one more place.

there's bug of the partial profit closing, I've been watching this bug for a while and today I just record it:

After I put my orders then show all lines:

you can see that originally setting is that an order was splitted by 3 orders.

But I don't know why it stop at the 2nd order prematurely and sell all.

The setting and illustration of the bug:

Apparently none of the orders follow the original plan

After order was put, the TP orders will be triggered at:

TP1=1.02490

TP2=1.02473

TP3=1.02454

But the 3 orders are:

1.02486

1.02483

1.02475

One thing that comes to me with the bug that I've just mentioned is that I open trade manager with same account with different PCs (and they has same magic numbers)

so one of TP was triggered then it will be triggered multiple times on different PCs

Does set different magic number on different PC will help resolve this issue?

Hello,

Yes, this is the problem that the program runs on two machines and controls transactions at the same time. Particular instances of the program do not communicate with each other, so you should only have the option of partial closing in one of them and turned off in the other (or changed the magic number so that there are no conflicts).

In other words, if you order two different people who are not in contact with each other, you will have the job done twice :)

In fact, the program gives you the option that you can set yourself to close any part of the transaction at any distance from the opening price. However, you must determine the distance between these parts yourself based on the characteristics of the symbol on which you trade, observing what average moves and what size of pullback occur.
