SessionBands
- Indicatori
- Versione: 1.24
SessionBands draws the three major sessions directly on your chart:
- **Tokyo, London and New York boxes** for the last N days (default 5), each spanning its session's actual high–low range
- sessions are defined in **server time**, with every start and end hour adjustable in the settings
- each box carries its session's **name label** and a distinct color, blended against your chart background at an adjustable opacity
- today's active session box grows with the session in progress
- a corner readout names the **currently active session(s)** and the **minutes until the next session opens**
- the **Session State verdict**: a gold strip under the session readout that judges each session's range against its own trailing 14-session average — **DEAD** under 0.5×, **QUIET** 0.5–0.8×, **NORMAL** 0.8–1.25×, **HOT** over 1.25×, **LIVE x.x×** while a session is running. Incumbents draw boxes; this one grades them
- the **Lockout Band**: a crimson daily window marking the major US data-release lockout — by default 14:25–14:35 server time (7:25–7:35 AM Central on a UTC+2 server), fully adjustable to your broker's offset. The window is the discipline, drawn where you can't miss it
- days with no bars (weekends) are skipped automatically
Any symbol, any timeframe. No DLLs, no external connections, no account access — it reads price history and draws rectangles. That is all it does.
SessionBands displays session structure. It does not generate signals, does not predict prices, and does not place or manage trades.
Runs on XAUUSD and other CFDs, and on futures contracts as well — including 1-ounce gold futures — any symbol your broker offers in MetaTrader 5.
