Introducing Halcyon Channel, a Keltner Channel-based trend and trading signal indicator that combines EMA, ATR bands and optional RSI confirmation to identify potential BUY/SELL opportunities.

Halcyon Channel builds dynamic price channels using an EMA basis and ATR-based upper and lower bands. It offers three entry modes: Breakout, Basis Cross and Band Re-entry, with optional RSI confirmation to validate signals. A trend-coloured basis, chart markers, live dashboard and customizable alerts provide clear market analysis and entry guidance.

  • Dynamic Keltner Channel: Uses configurable EMA and ATR periods with an ATR multiplier to calculate upper, lower and additional inner channel bands.
  • Trend Direction: Colours the EMA basis green when rising and red when falling.
  • Three Entry Modes: Supports Breakout, Basis Cross and Band Re-entry for breakout, trend-continuation and reversal opportunities.
  • RSI Confirmation: Optional RSI filter with configurable period and bullish/bearish thresholds.
  • Signal Cooldown: Sets a minimum number of bars between consecutive signals.
  • Chart Visualization: Displays BUY/SELL arrows, price tags and live right-side channel price labels.
  • Live Dashboard: Displays latest signal, signal age, channel position, band values, EMA basis, channel width, RSI and BUY/SELL counts. Draggable, resizable and minimizable.
  • Customizable Alerts: Supports popup, sound, email and mobile push notifications.
  • EA Integration: Provides a signal buffer with +1 for BUY, -1 for SELL and 0 for no signal.
  • Key Input Parameters:
  • EMA Period, ATR Period, ATR Multiplier, RSI Period, RSI Bullish Level, RSI Bearish Level, Entry Mode, RSI Filter, Signal Cooldown, Marker Colors, Label Settings and Dashboard Controls.
  • Entry Signal Rules:
  • Breakout: BUY when a candle closes above the upper channel band with a rising EMA basis. SELL when it closes below the lower band with a falling EMA basis.
  • Basis Cross: BUY when price crosses above the EMA basis while it is rising. SELL when price crosses below the basis while it is falling.
  • Band Re-entry: BUY when price moves below the lower band and closes back inside. SELL when price moves above the upper band and closes back inside.
  • When RSI confirmation is enabled, Breakout and Basis Cross BUY signals require RSI above the bullish threshold, while SELL signals require RSI below the bearish threshold. Band Re-entry uses the opposite RSI conditions.
