Introducing Vortex Anchor, a multi-level market structure and Anchored VWAP indicator that brings swing analysis, trend bias, key price levels and entry signals together in one chart.
Vortex Anchor tracks market structure through four independent ZigZag swing levels, each designed to highlight a different degree of price movement. From small local swings to major structural turning points, every level has its own marker, making it easier to distinguish short-term movements from broader market direction.
It also combines Level 2 and Level 3 Anchored VWAPs with Daily VWAP to give you a view of price relative to important swing points and the day's volume-weighted average. When its entry conditions align, Vortex identifies potential BUY and SELL opportunities with big and mini signals, while optional directional bias filtering helps keep signals aligned with the selected market structure.
Key Features:
- Four Levels of Market Structure: Tracks four independent ZigZag swing levels, each with customizable period, deviation and backstep settings. Level 1 uses tiny square markers, Level 2 uses stars, Level 3 uses directional arrows, and Level 4 uses diamonds. This makes it easy to separate minor price swings from larger structural movements.
- Anchored VWAP at Key Swings: Calculates Level 2 and Level 3 Anchored VWAPs from detected swing highs and lows. Each segment follows its anchor and continues until the next structural turning point. Customize the number of displayed segments, line styles, widths and optional background halos.
- Daily VWAP: Displays a volume-weighted average price that resets at the beginning of each new trading day using broker server time. An optional price-scale tag shows the current VWAP level, while the dashboard indicates whether price is trading above or below it.
- Big and Mini Entry Signals: Identifies potential BUY and SELL setups using relationships between consecutive swing points. Big signals use Level 2 and Level 3 structure, while Mini signals use Level 1 and Level 2 structure. Each signal has its own customizable arrow, size and color.
- Directional Bias Filter: Optionally filters entry signals according to the latest confirmed swing direction. Choose Level 3 Arrow Bias or Level 4 Diamond Bias to determine which structural direction should be respected when generating signals.
- Live Dashboard Panel: Displays the latest BUY/SELL signal, its entry price, signal type and how many bars ago it appeared. It also shows the current Level 3 directional bias, Level 4 Diamond Bias, Daily VWAP position, and the latest Level 3 swing high and low. The panel can be dragged, resized and minimized, with its position and size retained across timeframe changes.
- Latest Signal Labels: Optional BUY/SELL text labels identify the latest big entry signals directly on the chart. Labels are positioned away from the signal price to keep the chart readable.
- Major Swing Key Levels: Automatically draws horizontal right-extending dotted levels from the latest Level 3 swing high and low, with their corresponding price values displayed on the chart.
- Customizable Visual Themes: Choose from six built-in color combinations: Cobalt & Amber, Emerald & Ruby, Violet & Lime, Teal & Rose, Sky & Crimson, and Steel & Sand. Customize marker sizes, Wingdings symbols, VWAP line styles and widths, and other display options.
- Customizable Alerts: Popup, sound, email and mobile push notifications for Big BUY, Big SELL, Mini BUY and Mini SELL signals. Alerts are checked on the closed candle, helping you avoid notifications from signals that are still developing.
