Gold Block Stretch is the result of 4+ years of live gold trading and systematic research.
It trades XAUUSD on the M5 chart using two independent engines that exploit a measurable statistical edge:
1) STRUCTURE ENGINE
- Reads institutional market structure and trades only where large participants left their footprint.
- Trades in the direction of the higher-timeframe trend, with strict quality filters.
- Avoids exhausted moves and abnormal volatility.
2) STRETCH ENGINE
- Detects moments when price moves too far, too fast, and trades the statistically probable reaction.
- Protected by a daily loss limit and by "no re-entry in a losing area".
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Every trade has a stop loss from the moment it opens.
- Winners are allowed to run: automatic breakeven and trailing stop (no fixed target that cuts big moves).
- Lot size by % risk per trade (default 1%), fixed lot, or compounding (0.01 per X of balance).
- One-click lot mode panel on the chart.
HISTORY REPLAY AND CALCULATOR
- On start, the EA replays the chart history with its own rules (virtual trades, no orders sent) and draws every setup, entry and result on the chart.
- The on-chart calculator shows what those trades would give with your capital and lot mode, including maximum drawdown and ruin warnings.
BACKTEST (MT5 Strategy Tester, real ticks, XAUUSD M5, 1 Jan 2025 - 30 Oct 2026, 1500 USD, 1% risk):
- Profit factor 2.02, 614 trades, 51% winning trades
- Net profit +10,273 USD on 1,500 USD (100% history quality)
- Maximum balance drawdown 14.7%, maximum equity drawdown 16.8%
- 18 of 22 months positive
- Out-of-sample period: profit factor 1.35
Backtest results are not a guarantee of future results. Expect losing months and losing streaks (up to 10 losses in a row in the test).
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
- Symbol: XAUUSD (any suffix), timeframe M5. Designed and tested only for gold: do not use it on other symbols or timeframes.
- Minimum deposit: 1000 USD on a standard account (or a cent account). Recommended 1500+ USD with 1% risk.
- Leverage 1:100 or higher. Low-spread broker. VPS recommended (the EA trades around the clock).
- Hedging accounts recommended. On netting accounts the EA keeps one position at a time.
- Set "Broker server GMT offset" to your broker's server time zone (0 for Exness).
MAIN INPUTS
- Strategies: enable or disable each engine.
- Risk: % risk per trade, fixed lot or compounding (0.01 lot per X of balance).
- Drawing and history replay: show setups, entries and results on the chart.
- Broker server GMT offset: set it to your broker's time zone (0 for Exness).
All other settings are already tested and optimized for XAUUSD M5. Keep the default values.
