Precision Histogram Trend MT5 is a customizable histogram indicator for MetaTrader 5 that displays positive and negative values around a central zero line. Its color-coded bars provide a visual representation of changes in histogram direction and magnitude.
The indicator includes a live percentage display, configurable reference levels, and adjustable visual settings, allowing traders to customize how histogram values are presented in a separate chart window.
Features
Color-Coded Histogram
The histogram uses three configurable colors to distinguish changes in consecutive bar values. Green indicates an upward movement in the histogram, red indicates a downward movement, and gray indicates practically unchanged consecutive values.
Live Percentage Display
Display the current histogram value as a percentage, with an optional directional arrow. Customize the text color, font, size, horizontal offset, vertical offset, and update interval.
Percentage Scale Labels
Optional labels display percentage values along the right side of the indicator window, helping traders read the histogram scale.
Horizontal Reference Levels
Add positive and negative horizontal levels to the histogram window. Adjust the spacing, number of levels, colors, and line width according to your preferences.
Customizable Settings
Configure the fast and slow periods, histogram amplitude, histogram colors, zero line, percentage labels, reference levels, and live percentage display.
How to Read the Histogram
Values above zero indicate positive histogram readings, while values below zero indicate negative readings.
Changes in bar height show whether the histogram is moving farther from or closer to zero. Color changes help distinguish upward and downward movements between consecutive values.
The histogram provides visual information about changes in its own values. It does not guarantee future price direction or confirm trading opportunities.
