When choosing an Expert Advisor, it is important to consider the quote source and execution conditions. The presented Swing Price X results were obtained using IC Markets Demo historical data. To repeat the backtest, we recommend using the same quote source and the settings listed above.

You can run the algorithm on an IC Markets demo account and set up trade copying to your own trading account through a trade copying service. Before using it, check that symbols, volumes and execution parameters are aligned between the accounts.

The market is both dynamic and static.

It is dynamic because buying and selling constantly take place at different price levels. Volatility, the speed of price movements and the trading strategies traders use to describe the market all change.

Yet the foundation remains unchanged: swings, turning points and candle expansion — Open, High, Low, Close. These movements already existed on the chart before the many names, patterns and trading concepts emerged.

Swing Price X automates a specific part of the author's trading strategy, following the One Shot, One Kill approach.

No stream of frequent trades, martingale, averaging down on losing positions or increasing risk in an attempt to recover losses. In the standard configuration, there is one trade per trading interval, with Stop Loss and Take Profit set automatically when the trade is opened.

You choose the settings — the system does the trading work.

The Expert Advisor automatically determines the direction, identifies the entry point, opens the position and manages it. You do not need to sit in front of the chart constantly, wait for signals or place orders manually. While you go about your day, the system monitors the strategy's conditions and acts when they are met.

Three execution modes

• Market Execution — market entry after a signal appears.
• Limit Execution — automatic placement of a limit order at a calculated level.
• Limit + Stop Execution — placement of a limit order and a stop order to enter on a pullback or a continuation of the move. Once a position is opened, the remaining order is cancelled.

A dedicated calculation for pending order placement adapts to current volatility. Limit orders and stop orders have independent parameters.

Flexible settings and automated position management

The primary operating timeframe is M5. You can configure trading intervals, the number of entries, position size, Stop Loss and Take Profit in monetary amounts or percentages, and daily profit and loss limits.

Flexible trailing automatically moves the protective stop as the price movement develops. You set its activation conditions and trailing distance.

Automatic mode or your chosen direction

Let the system choose the direction, or manually allow only buys or only sells. Entry detection, execution and position management remain automatic.
