FOREX GOAL
Automated Supertrend Crossover System for MetaTrader 5
Forex Goal is a trend following Expert Advisor built around a classic
Supertrend crossover engine (period 15, multiplier 5, hl2 source, Wilder ATR).
It enters when momentum reverses - the first close across the Supertrend line -
and manages every trade with a four-level ATR target grid, a hard stop and an
optional profit ratchet. No martingale, no grid, no averaging, no arbitrage:
every trade is opened once, sized once and closed only by fixed rules.
HOW IT ENTERS
* Long - candle closes ABOVE the Supertrend line (crossover) -> market order
placed at the next bar open.
* Short - candle closes BELOW the Supertrend line (crossunder) -> market order
placed at the next bar open.
* Both sides can be enabled or disabled separately.
* Optional confirmation filter with 7 modes:
1. None (pure Supertrend signals - default)
2. ATR(5) >= EMA/SMA(5) of ATR (trending volatility)
3. RSI(7) outside the band 45-10 (momentum extreme)
4. ATR condition OR RSI condition
5. ATR condition AND RSI condition
6. Sideways: ATR(5) <= EMA/SMA(5) OR RSI inside the band
7. Sideways: ATR(5) <= EMA/SMA(5) AND RSI inside the band
ATR/RSI lengths and the RSI band are adjustable inputs.
HOW IT EXITS
* Four take-profit levels derived from ATR(14) at the entry:
TP1 = 1.5 x ATR TP2 = 3 x ATR TP3 = 5 x ATR TP4 = 9 x ATR
* The position is split 30% / 30% / 30% / 10% across the four levels and each
level closes its slice as a separate partial close - profits are banked
progressively instead of waiting for one distant target.
* Stop-loss at 6 x ATR(14) below/above the entry (or the next-bar-open close
after the level is pierced - selectable mode broker side SL optional).
* Reversal exit: an opposite Supertrend crossover force closes the open trade
at the next bar open - the EA then trades the new direction. A losing
position can never ride against a fresh trend.
PROFIT RATCHET (optional, default Off)
As the take-profits fill, the stop can be moved up to lock the trade:
* Off - classic behavior, stop stays untouched (exact parity with
the reference logic)
* Breakeven only - after TP1 fills, SL moves to the entry (commission/spread
aware)
* BE then TP1 lock - breakeven after TP1; when TP3 fills, TP1's slice profit
is locked as the new stop
* Full ladder - TP1 -> breakeven, TP2 -> TP2 lock, TP3 -> TP3 lock
The stop only ever moves in the profitable direction - it can never go back.
MONEY MANAGEMENT
* Cash-based sizing (like a fixed notional account), risk per trade sizing or
fixed lot - selectable.
* Volume is normalized to the broker's lot step, respects market volume limits
and a minimum free margin guard.
* No position is ever added to a running trade (one entry per signal,
pyramiding off) - the only add is the reversal.
TRADE MANAGEMENT FEATURES
* Trading session gate: trade only inside New York / London / Tokyo / Sydney
windows (UTC, selectable, default NY+London).
* News awareness: built in economic calendar monitor - alerts before
high impact (red) events and optional blocking of new entries around them.
* Date filter and lookback window for clean backtests.
* Fill reliability: if a broker rejects the entry order (requote/margin), the
EA re tries the same signal automatically within the same bar - signals are
not lost to requotes.
ON CHART TOOLKIT (all individually switchable)
* Supertrend line drawn directly on the chart (green = uptrend, red =
downtrend) the very line that triggers the entries.
* Entry/exit markers, TP1-4 / entry / stop lines, labels and the risk/reward
boxes of the live trade.
* Two dashboard tables: Trade table (win rate, trades, direction sentiment,
volatility, session) and a 9 timeframe MTF trend matrix.
NOTIFICATIONS
* Terminal alerts + optional push notifications.
* Optional Telegram notifications (entries, TP fills, closes, news list) via
your own bot token - works on live accounts.
INSTALLATION AND USE
* Attach to a chart of the symbol USD/CAD and timeframe 1H to trade (the
system is tuned and verified on H1).
* Default inputs are ready to use; set your lot sizing mode in
Position size and press OK.
* Works on any account offering hedging; suitable for any broker spread.
* The EA does not use DLLs, does not modify foreign positions (it only
manages trades opened by its own magic number).
BACKTEST RESULTS
USD/CAD, H1 - verified test run (independently reproduced, 2025.01.01 - 2026.10.09):

Sideways (ATR / RSI); broker-side stop-loss = On; sessions = New York +
London; news monitor = On; all other inputs at defaults.

This run reproduces the reference trading logic bar-for-bar (114 entries, one
per signal, filled at the next bar open) - the EA is an exact port, not an
approximation. Both stat blocks above were independently re-verified on the
real-tick model on 2026.10.11.
