Prop Guard Pro - Risk Management and Manual Execution EA
This EA is a risk management tool designed specifically for prop firm traders. It does not trade automatically. You control the entries using the dashboard buttons, while the EA handles the lot size calculation and monitors your drawdown limits in real-time.
Why I built this:
Managing daily and overall drawdown limits manually while trading is stressful and prone to calculation errors. If you have multiple positions open, it is easy to lose track of your exposure. Prop Guard Pro solves this by automatically calculating the correct lot size based on your Stop Loss and instantly locking the account if a limit is breached.
Key Features:
- Drawdown Monitoring: Tracks Daily and Overall limits 24/7. Supports both Balance-based and Equity-based calculations.
- Interactive Stop Loss: Drag the yellow line on your chart. The EA automatically recalculates the lot size to match your selected risk percentage (0.25%, 0.50%, or 1.00%).
- Hard Lockout System: If your account hits the configured drawdown limit, the EA disables all trading buttons and closes positions based on your settings.
- Persistent State: Uses Global Variables to save your data. If the terminal restarts or the VPS reconnects, your drawdown references and lock status are restored.
- Panic Button: A dedicated "Close All" button to exit the market immediately during high volatility.
- Prop Firm Profiles: Pre-configured settings for FTMO, FundedNext, and E8 Markets, plus a Custom mode for any other firm.
How to use it:
1. Attach the EA to your chart.
2. Configure your specific prop firm rules in the Inputs (Daily DD %, Overall DD %, Trailing type).
3. Drag the yellow SL line to your desired Stop Loss level.
4. Select your risk percentage and click BUY or SELL.
5. The EA calculates the lot, opens the trade with the correct SL, and starts monitoring.
Technical Details:

- Supports both Hedging and Netting accounts.
- Works on Forex, Metals (XAUUSD), and CFDs.
- Uses OrderCalcProfit() to verify lot sizes against broker contract specifications.
