Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – MULTIPLEX EA
1. What is the MULTIPLEX EA and how does its trading strategy work?
The MULTIPLEX EA is an automated Expert Advisor (EA) developed for the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform designed to combine multiple operational signals into a single sistema de decisão (decision system). The core strategy utilizes the native Multiplex signal integrated with popular technical indicators such as Parabolic SAR , Fractals , and Moving Average (Média Móvel ). The system evaluates these active signals together. When sinais simultâneos de compra e venda (simultaneous buy and sell signals) occur at the same time, the EA does not open a new trade, waiting until a clear market direction is defined.
2. Which trend confirmation filters are available in the robot?
To avoid false breakouts and filter market noise, the trader can activate optional momentum and oscillator filters. The MULTIPLEX EA features built-in filters for RSI (Relative Strength Index) , MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) , and Stochastic (Estocástico ). These filters are designed to either confirm or completely block the entry based on overbought or oversold market conditions.
3. How does the risk management and order system work?
This MT5 robot includes a highly robust gerenciador de ordens (order manager). It features a configurable Grid (grade de ordens ), allowing you to set a minimum distance between entries and control the maximum order count . Capital protection is enforced through an individual Stop Loss (SL) , individual Take Profit (TP) , and a Global Take Profit that automatically closes the entire position basket (conjunto de posições ) once the overall financial target is met.
4. Does the EA use lot multiplication methods like Martingale or Soros?
The MULTIPLEX EA avoids aggressive, traditional Martingale systems, but it provides two optional lot management functions for capital recovery and compounding:
- Recovery lot management: It safely adjusts the lot size of subsequent positions to recover past losses (gerenciamento por Recovery ).
- Soros mode: An optional setting (modo Soros ) designed to reinvest profits from consecutive winning trades, compounding mathematical and statistical gains.
5. What safety mechanisms and daily loss limits are built-in?
The EA was built with a strict focus on capital preservation, offering advanced protection tools such as:
- Spread control: Prevents opening trades during high volatility or low liquidity periods (controle de spread ).
- Daily profit limit: Halts trading activities once the daily profit target is reached (limite diário de ganho ).
- Daily loss limit: Acts as a hard safety lock to restrict the daily drawdown (limite diário de perda ).
- Time restrictions: Allows precise configuration for the order start and end time , as well as a specific position closing time (horário para encerramento ).
6. Does version 2.13 include dynamic Break Even or Trailing Stop features?
No. Version 2.13 of the MULTIPLEX EA relies strictly on static SL and TP management . It does not utilize any dynamic Break Even (moving the stop to the entry point) or Trailing Stop (moving stop loss) mechanisms.
7. Does the MULTIPLEX EA include a visual dashboard and a testing mode?
Yes. The EA comes equipped with an intuitive graphical panel with statistics (painel gráfico com estatísticas ) displayed in real-time on your MT5 chart. It includes quick-action buttons for pause and close all orders. Additionally, it features a Replay mode (modo Replay ), which is ideal for simulating and studying the historical behavior of the robot visually.
8. Does past performance in historical testing guarantee live trading profits?
No. It is crucial to remember that backtest results do not guarantee future performance (resultados de backtest não garantem resultados futuros ). The user must calibrate and optimize the EA settings according to the specific traded symbol (ativo ), broker (corretora ), account type , and overall market conditions
