PROP RULE SHIELD - PROP FIRM RISK GUARD
One bad day can end a challenge or a funded account. Prop Rule Shield watches your equity in real time and steps in before you hit your firm's limits.
It does not open trades. It runs alongside any EA or your manual trading and protects the account.
KEY FEATURES
- Daily loss guard
Equity-based, so floating profit and loss count. Choose the daily reference (start-of-day balance, start-of-day equity, or the higher of both) and measure the limit as a percentage of the initial size or of the reference.
- Max drawdown guard
Static, trailing from highest equity, or trailing from highest balance. Optional cap so the trailing floor stops rising at the initial size.
- Two-stage protection
Soft alert at 70% of a limit (adjustable). Hard action at 90% (adjustable): closes all positions, deletes pending orders, and locks trading.
- Discipline rules (optional)
Maximum new trades per day and a stop after consecutive losing trades. When triggered, new trades are blocked until the next daily reset.
- Restart-safe
The daily reference, trailing high-water mark and lock state are saved, so a terminal restart does not reset your limits.
- Live on-chart dashboard
Shows how much of each limit is used and the exact equity level where the hard stop fires.
- Alerts
Popup and push notifications.
- Works with any EA, manual trades, and any symbol.
HOW TO USE
1. Attach to ONE chart and keep AutoTrading enabled.
2. Enter your account's rules (initial size, daily loss %, max drawdown %, drawdown type, daily reset time) exactly as shown in your firm's dashboard.
3. Set the daily reset hour in your broker's SERVER time.
4. Leave it running.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
- This is a helper tool, not a guarantee. Slippage, gaps and spreads can push a loss past your limit before a position is closed.
- Protection is reactive. The Shield cannot stop another EA or you from sending an order. While locked, it closes new positions right after they open and deletes pending orders.
- Designed for hedging accounts. On netting accounts, adding to an existing position can bypass the entry lock.
- Rules differ between firms and change over time. You are responsible for entering the correct values and checking them against your firm's current rules.
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any prop trading firm.
- Trading involves risk. Past results do not guarantee future results.
