First Candle OHLC Pro is an advanced and highly optimized MT5 indicator that automatically marks the Open, High, Low, and Close (OHLC) levels of the first opening candle of the day. These levels extend as straight horizontal lines until the new opening candle of the next day is formed. It also features a live on-chart dashboard that displays in real-time how many points the current price is trading above or below these crucial daily levels.

The Formula / Logic (How It Works)

This indicator identifies the start of a new day based on your custom time-shift parameters:

1. Server Day Start Calculation: By calculating (Current Server Time + Time Shift Seconds) / 86400 , the exact start time of the targeted trading day is determined.

2. First Candle Detection: As soon as the new day's start time crosses, the indicator waits for the very first candle (based on your selected timeframe, e.g., H1) to fully form and close.

3. Level Projection: Once the candle closes, its Open , High , Low , and Close prices are locked in and plotted as constant levels on the chart until the next day's opening sequence begins.

Trading Strategy: How to Identify the Market Trend

The first candle of the day plays a massive role in deciding the intraday sentiment and market momentum. By observing these levels, you can instantly gauge the live market position:

• Bullish Trend (Buy Bias): If the live market price is trading above the First Candle OPEN line, it indicates a positive (bullish) intraday trend. If the price then breaks above the First Candle HIGH, it is considered a strong Buy breakout signal.

• Bearish Trend (Sell Bias): If the live market price is trading below the First Candle OPEN line, there is selling pressure (bearish sentiment). If the price breaks below the First Candle LOW, it indicates a strong Sell breakdown.

• Consolidation (Sideways Market): As long as the price trades between the High and Low of the First Candle (inside the range), the market is considered sideways. Breakout traders can wait on the sidelines here, while scalpers can trade the High and Low boundaries as support and resistance.

• Dashboard Monitor Advantage: You don't need to zoom in and out of the chart or use the crosshair tool to check distances. The dashboard will directly state "Above by 150 Pts", allowing you to understand the market's strength relative to the opening price in a split second.
