Range Terminator

RANGE TERMINATOR

Range Terminator è un Expert Advisor per MetaTrader 5 basato su una strategia di breakout di un intervallo temporale.

L'EA definisce un intervallo di trading durante il periodo di tempo scelto. Registra il prezzo massimo e minimo raggiunti durante tale periodo. Al termine dell'intervallo, Range Terminator inserisce automaticamente ordini pendenti di breakout sopra e sotto il range.

COME FUNZIONA RANGE TERMINATOR

1. Definizione del periodo del range

Scegli l'orario durante il quale Range Terminator deve monitorare il mercato.

Esempio:

Range Start: 08:00
Range End: 10:00
Close Time: 18:00

Durante questo periodo, l'EA registra continuamente:

  • Range High — massimo del range

  • Range Low — minimo del range

2. Formazione del range di trading

Durante il periodo selezionato, l'EA monitora continuamente il movimento del prezzo.

Registra il prezzo Ask più alto e il prezzo Bid più basso raggiunti durante il periodo.

Questi livelli formano i limiti del range di trading.

3. Inserimento degli ordini di breakout

Quando termina il periodo di formazione del range, Range Terminator inserisce due ordini pendenti:

  • Buy Stop — sopra il massimo del range

  • Sell Stop — sotto il minimo del range

L'EA applica inoltre un buffer di prezzo ai livelli di breakout.

4. Stop Loss automatico

Ogni ordine pendente riceve uno Stop Loss basato sul lato opposto del range.

Per Buy Stop:

Ingresso = Sopra il massimo del range
Stop Loss = Sotto il minimo del range

Per Sell Stop:

Ingresso = Sotto il minimo del range
Stop Loss = Sopra il massimo del range

5. Take Profit automatico

Range Terminator utilizza un rapporto rischio/rendimento di 1:1.

Se la distanza tra l'ingresso e lo Stop Loss è di 50 punti, il Take Profit viene posizionato a 50 punti dall'ingresso.

Esempio:

Buy Entry: 1.1050
Stop Loss: 1.1000
Take Profit: 1.1100

6. Trading del breakout

Se il prezzo rompe al rialzo il range, viene attivato il Buy Stop.

Se il prezzo rompe al ribasso il range, viene attivato il Sell Stop.

L'EA non cerca di prevedere la direzione del mercato. Attende che il prezzo rompa effettivamente il range definito.

7. Chiusura automatica

All'orario di chiusura configurato, Range Terminator chiude le posizioni associate all'EA ed elimina gli ordini pendenti rimanenti.

CONFIGURAZIONE

Range Start Hours — ora di inizio del range.
Range Start Minutes — minuto di inizio del range.
Range End Hours — ora di fine del range.
Range End Minutes — minuto di fine del range.
Close Hours — ora di chiusura dell'attività dell'EA.
Close Minutes — minuto di chiusura.
Order Size — dimensione fissa del lotto utilizzata dall'EA.
Magic Number — identifica le operazioni appartenenti a Range Terminator.
Trade Comment — aggiunge un commento personalizzato alle operazioni aperte dall'EA.

ESEMPIO

Supponiamo:

Range Start: 08:00
Range End: 10:00
Close Time: 18:00
Lot Size: 0.01

Tra le 08:00 e le 10:00, l'EA registra il range di mercato.

Supponiamo:

Range High = 1.1050
Range Low = 1.1000

Dopo le 10:00, l'EA inserisce gli ordini pendenti intorno a questi livelli.

Buy Stop: sopra il massimo del range
Sell Stop: sotto il minimo del range

Se si verifica un breakout rialzista, viene attivato il Buy Stop.

Se si verifica un breakout ribassista, viene attivato il Sell Stop.

La posizione utilizza il lato opposto del range come riferimento per lo Stop Loss e imposta il Take Profit con un rapporto di 1:1.

Alle 18:00, l'EA chiude le posizioni ed elimina gli ordini pendenti rimanenti appartenenti a Range Terminator.

IMPORTANTE

Range Terminator è un sistema di trading meccanico basato sui breakout. Le sue prestazioni dipendono dallo strumento selezionato, dal timeframe, dalla sessione di trading, dallo spread, dalla volatilità, dall'esecuzione degli ordini del broker e dalle impostazioni dell'EA.
