Gold Pulse Sweep is a rule-based Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold), combining short-term liquidity sweep detection with a strong-candle fallback, ATR-based risk management, and an optional H1 trend filter.
How it enters trades
The EA scans the M1 timeframe for liquidity sweeps: price briefly breaking a recent high or low and closing back past the midpoint of that candle, which can signal a potential reversal. When a sweep is detected, it checks the following candle's body ratio as a lightweight confirmation before entering.
If no sweep is present, the EA can also enter on a strong directional candle alone, using the H1 EMA(20/50) trend as directional bias when available. This is a more frequent, opportunity-driven entry style rather than a strict setup-only approach — it is designed to take more trades than a purely conservative strategy.
Risk and trade management
Stop loss and take profit are calculated from the current ATR, not fixed pip values, so they adapt to Gold's changing volatility.
Position size can be calculated automatically from account risk percentage, or set to a fixed lot.
Positions move to break-even once a configurable profit threshold is reached, followed by ATR-based trailing.
A spread filter blocks entries when spread is abnormally wide relative to current ATR.
A minimum time gap between entries prevents rapid re-entry on the same signal.
Trading frequency and sessions
By default this EA is configured for continuous (24/7) trading across Asian, London, and New York sessions, and can open multiple positions in the same direction per signal, up to an adjustable maximum. Session windows and trade limits are fully configurable in the inputs.
Important notes
This is an aggressive, higher-frequency trading style by default. All risk parameters (risk percent, max open trades, max lot size, daily loss limit) are adjustable inputs — test and adjust them to match your own risk tolerance before increasing position size.
