For peak performance, however, trader participation and ongoing market analysis are required — the EA works best as a powerful scanner and execution assistant,not as a substitute for supervision. Always run a forward test on a demo account for an extended period before activating it on a real account.

Overview

Gold Market Scanner is an Expert Advisor built for GOLD (XAUUSD / GOLD) that combines on-chart market scanning with automated execution. It identifies volume build-up, high-volume push momentum, volatility spikes, liquidity areas, stop hunts and price rejection — and can optionally enter trades with fixed Stop Loss / Take Profit and a dynamic trailing stop. It can also run in Scanner-only mode (auto-trading off) to display signals, zones and key levels without placing any orders.

How It Works

The EA scans the market (default 300 bars) and computes volume ratios, a pressure index, wick/range spike signals, momentum Z-scores and liquidity zones from swing highs/lows. Detected events are ranked and displayed with color-coded markers and status information. When a confirmed Push Buy / Push Sell signal fires, trading mode opens a position with a defined Stop Loss and Take Profit; the dynamic trailing stop then locks in profit as the market moves in your favor.

Recommended Usage

• Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD (optimized for gold; other symbols supported)
• Timeframes: M1/M5/M15/H1 recommended
• Account: hedging or netting, standard or cent
• Enable Auto-Trading in the terminal and verify the account has trading permission

Main Inputs

• Enable Trading: ON = auto trade / OFF = scanner-only
• Lot size, magic number, trade cooldown
• Stop Loss, Take Profit and trailing-stop distances (in points).  (When trail is set to "0" - disables trail, and normal SL/TP settings apply, if set to specific parameter, SL will start trailng immediately from price).
• Volume, spike, pressure and trend thresholds
• Liquidity-zone and consolidation parameters
• Chart colors for zones, markers and status

Installation

1. Copy the .ex5 file into MQL5/Experts/ (or install directly from the MQL5 Market app)
2. Attach the EA to a GOLD (XAUUSD) chart, M15 or H1
3. Review and adjust the input parameters
4. Start on a demo account and monitor the first trades before considering live use
