THE TRAP MOVES. THAT'S THE POINT
Every pending-order EA lays a trap. Nearly all of them leave it behind. Ambush Crawler arms a BUYSTOP above price and a SELLSTOP below it, then crawls both traps with the market - re-anchoring them every time price wanders - so the ambush is always seconds old, never stale. When the market finally commits, it walks straight into a trap that was repositioned moments ago: hard shield locked in, strike target loaded, from birth.
THE STRATEGY - MECHANICS, NOT PREDICTION
No indicators. No repainting. No lagging signals. At 04:00 server time the engine deploys two traps - a BUYSTOP above the market, a SELLSTOP below it - offset by a calibrated Ambush Distance (default 90 points). From that moment the crawl begins: whenever price drifts more than 30 points from a trap line, both traps re-anchor around the fresh price, on a 5-second cadence floor that keeps the book clean and the churn near zero.
When a trap fills, the runner is born protected: a hard 150-point stop-loss and a 1,250-point take-profit attached to the order itself - never a naked position. The opposite trap keeps crawling for the reversal. The engine never holds more than one runner and one armed trap per side. Nothing stacked. Nothing hidden.
THE EXIT ENGINE - THE FOUR-TIER PURSUIT SHIELD
Entries start trades. Exits finish them. Every winner is escorted by a four-tier pursuit shield that tightens as the run matures - and the shield lives on the broker as a real stop-loss, advanced only outside the freeze zone, never a cosmetic line.
Early escort - the shield trails 200 points behind price and advances in 250-point steps while the runner is still finding its feet.
Close pursuit - once the shield clears the entry, it pulls to 50 points behind price in 100-point steps and stays there.
Deep-run lock - beyond the 800-point gate the final tier takes over: maximum tightness behind a big mover, all the way to the strike.
PATROL WINDOW - THE ENGINE SLEEPS ON SCHEDULE
Traps go live at 04:00 server time and stand down at 22:00. At withdrawal, every armed trap is pulled from the book; open runners keep their hard shields and strikes until they resolve. At 04:00 the ambush redeploys. No zombie pendings, no overnight surprise book - the engine is either on patrol or visibly on standby, and the dashboard tells you which.
THE COMMAND DECK - A DASHBOARD THAT EARNS ITS PIXELS
A dark-glass tactical HUD replaces the usual blinking text. Brand header with live server clock and patrol state. ACCOUNT VITALS: balance, equity, a floating P/L chip that tints green or red, margin level. MISSION STATUS: patrol window with a live gold coverage bar, runners deployed, traps armed, current firepower. A gold pulse crawls along the header while the engine hunts - you always know it is alive. Rendering is engineered, not decorative: full redraw once per second, live numbers every tick, near-zero chart overhead.
FIREPOWER - TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN
No hidden lot games, no recovery math. Auto Firepower scales lots linearly with balance: on the default Guardian doctrine, every $1,000 of balance carries 0.10 lots per trap. Want more or less? Ranger carries 1.5x, Vanguard 3x - or switch to a fixed lot and decide yourself. A stopped trap costs roughly $15 per $1,000 carried, plus spread and commission. One runner and one trap per side is the entire exposure model, and you can read it off the dashboard at any second.
RAW & ECN ONLY - THIS IS THE CONTRACT
The entire geometry of this machine - a 90-point ambush, a 30-point crawl trigger, a 150-point shield - is engineered against raw-spread economics: 0 to 20 point spreads on majors, near-zero
stop levels, honest fills. On standard accounts the math physically collapses: 30 to 60 point spreads detach the shield from fresh traps, devour the ambush distance, and turn the crawl into churn.
Ambush Crawler is built for raw/ECN execution. Wide-spread standard accounts are not supported - the spread gate refuses shield attachment and the strategy loses its edge. We would rather lose the sale than your deposit.
Not for prop firms, either, and here is the honest reason: firepower scales with balance and can exceed evaluation lot caps, and an 18-hour dual-side patrol is hostile to daily-drawdown discipline. Those traits are strengths on private raw/ECN capital - and rule-breakers inside an evaluation. If you are trading a challenge, this is not your tool.
WHAT AMBUSH CRAWLER DOES NOT DO
No martingale. No grid. No averaging down. No recovery lots. No signal repainting. No overnight pending book. Every trap is born with a hard stop-loss and take-profit attached, and total exposure is capped at one runner and one trap per side. What you read here is the whole machine - there is nothing else in the box.

FAQ
Q. Which broker should I run it on?
Any true raw/ECN account with tight spreads and low commission on your symbol. The preset is tuned for spreads up to roughly 20 points; beyond that the shield gate starts refusing and the ambush geometry degrades. Standard accounts are not suitable - that is a design boundary, not a suggestion.
Q. Why not prop firms?
Auto Firepower scales lots with balance and can exceed evaluation lot caps, while the dual-side patrol conflicts with daily-drawdown rules. The engine follows its own doctrine, not an evaluation rulebook.
Q. Can it trade other pairs?
No.
Q. One chart or many?
One chart per symbol. Running several symbols? Give each chart its own Unit ID (magic number) so the engines never cross-own each other's trades.
Q. Do I need to change settings?
No. The defaults are the delivered preset: 90-point ambush, 150-point shield, 1,250-point strike,
04:00-22:00 patrol. The only knob most traders ever touch is the doctrine.
