Cardwell Range Analyze
An RSI "range" regime engine (inspired by Andrew Cardwell's RSI rules) combined with a trend filter, higher-timeframe confirmation and an ADX chop filter. When momentum and trend agree, it prints a clean BUY or SELL signal and automatically draws a full trade plan - Entry, Stop Loss and three Take-Profit targets - with shaded risk and reward zones. A compact on-chart dashboard summarizes the market state at a glance.
Key Features
- RSI regime engine - classifies the market as Bullish, Bearish or Neutral using configurable RSI ranges plus a trend moving average.
- Confirmation filters - Higher-Timeframe (HTF) trend confirmation and an ADX filter that blocks weak, sideways markets.
- Automatic trade levels - ATR-based Entry, SL, TP1, TP2 and TP3, shown only for the most recent signal.
- Risk / Reward zones - shaded boxes behind price so risk and reward are instantly visible.
- Heatmap candles - candle bodies recolored by the current regime.
- Info dashboard - Regime, RSI, ranges, trend, ADX strength and a plain-language Analysis line.
- Alerts - popup and push notifications on every new signal, with full Entry/SL/TP detail.
- Fully customizable colors, ranges, ATR multipliers and dashboard position.
How It Works
- Trend: price vs a moving average (default 50) - above = uptrend, below = downtrend.
- RSI range: a bullish regime needs RSI inside the Bull Range (default 40-80); a bearish regime needs RSI inside the Bear Range (default 20-60).
- Regime confirmation: the condition must hold for N bars (default 2) before it is accepted, reducing whipsaw.
- HTF confirmation: a BUY only fires if the higher timeframe (default H4) also trends up; a SELL needs the HTF trending down.
- Chop filter: signals are blocked when ADX is below the minimum strength (default 20).
- Trade levels: Entry = close of the bar before the signal; SL and TPs are set at Entry +/- (ATR x multiplier).
How To Use
- Attach to a chart. Recommended timeframe: H4 (or H1 with HTF = H4). Keep the chart timeframe below the HTF setting.
- Read the dashboard for the current regime and the Analysis verdict.
- When a BUY (blue up arrow) or SELL (orange down arrow) appears, the Entry / SL / TP1-3 lines and the risk/reward zones are drawn automatically.
- Use the drawn SL for your stop and TP1/TP2/TP3 for scaling out. Only the latest signal is shown - a new signal replaces the old one.
- Turn on alerts to be notified of new signals.
Colors, Arrows and Levels (Legend)
- Teal candle = Bullish regime. Red candle = Bearish regime. Gray candle = Neutral.
