VertexPulse Momentum Acceleration — MQL5 Market Product Description
Short Description
VertexPulse Momentum Acceleration is a MetaTrader 5 custom indicator that measures acceleration of price momentum, compares it with a signal line, and displays bullish or bearish acceleration crosses using histogram and optional arrows.
Main Description
VertexPulse Momentum Acceleration is a professional MetaTrader 5 custom indicator designed for manual traders who want to analyze changes in momentum speed. It is not based on RSI, ATR, Donchian channels, VWAP, candle pressure, efficiency flow, regression slope, MACD, Bollinger Bands, or Stochastic logic.
The indicator calculates price momentum over a selected period, compares it with older momentum, and converts the difference into a normalized acceleration oscillator. This helps show whether directional momentum is increasing or decreasing. Positive values suggest bullish acceleration. Negative values suggest bearish acceleration. Values near zero suggest weak acceleration or balanced movement.
A signal line is calculated from the acceleration oscillator. Optional arrows appear when the acceleration line crosses the signal line with enough strength. By default, signals are based on closed bars only, so closed-bar signals do not use future candles and do not repaint.
The indicator is designed for visual analysis and manual decision-making. It does not open trades, close trades, manage positions, use martingale, use grid logic, call DLL files, access files, or use WebRequest.
Core Logic
Current Momentum = Current Close - Close N bars ago
Older Momentum = Close from Acceleration Shift bars ago - Close from Acceleration Shift + Momentum Period bars ago
Momentum Acceleration = Current Momentum - Older Momentum
The acceleration value is normalized by average absolute close-to-close movement over the Normalize Period and bounded to the range from -100 to +100.

Input Parameters
Momentum Period
Default: 12
Controls the period used to calculate current and older price momentum.
Acceleration Shift
Default: 6
Controls how far back older momentum is measured.
Normalize Period
Default: 24
Controls the period used to calculate average absolute price movement for normalization.
Signal Period
Default: 9
Controls the smoothing period of the signal line.
Minimum Signal Strength
Default: 7.0
Controls the minimum positive or negative acceleration value required for an arrow signal.
Show Histogram
Default: true
Shows or hides the bullish and bearish histogram.
Show Arrows
Default: true
Shows or hides acceleration cross arrows.
Use Current Bar For Signals
Default: false
If false, arrows are generated from closed bars only. If true, current-bar arrows may appear and can change before the candle closes.
Enable Popup Alerts
Default: false
Enables or disables popup alerts.

How To Use
1. Attach VertexPulse Momentum Acceleration to a MetaTrader 5 chart.
2. Start with the default settings.
3. Watch the blue Acceleration line and the gold Signal Line.
4. Positive acceleration suggests bullish momentum is increasing.
5. Negative acceleration suggests bearish momentum is increasing.
6. Green histogram bars highlight bullish acceleration conditions.
7. Red histogram bars highlight bearish acceleration conditions.
8. Arrows highlight acceleration-line crosses that meet the minimum strength condition.
9. Confirm all signals with your own trend, market structure, support/resistance, volatility, and risk rules.
Signal Interpretation
Bullish Acceleration Cross
A bullish arrow can appear when the Acceleration line crosses above the Signal Line and the acceleration value is greater than or equal to the Minimum Signal Strength.
Bearish Acceleration Cross
A bearish arrow can appear when the Acceleration line crosses below the Signal Line and the acceleration value is less than or equal to the negative Minimum Signal Strength.
No-Repaint Explanation
By default, Use Current Bar For Signals is false. Signals are generated on closed candles only. The indicator calculates each bar using only data available at that bar and older bars. It does not use future candles to create or improve historical signals.
