Volume Absorption Exhaustion Decay MT5 is a technical indicator designed to analyze how effectively price responds to market activity.
Instead of relying on volume spikes alone, the indicator examines changes in directional price movement relative to historical volume activity. Its purpose is to identify potential absorption, exhaustion, and subsequent market reactions.
How It Works
The indicator compares recent and previous price movement efficiency using relative volume and volatility normalization.
When price movement becomes less efficient, the system evaluates two conditions:

Absorption Candidate: Elevated activity with limited directional progress near recent price extremes.

After identifying a candidate, the indicator monitors subsequent closed candles for directional recovery, reversal, or expiration.
