Regression Channel Pro is an advanced trend-following indicator that
automatically draws a dynamic linear regression channel on your chart
and generates precise buy and sell signals based on price interaction
with the channel boundaries.
Unlike most signal indicators, Regression Channel Pro uses a
multi-confirmation logic that reduces signal repaint by up to 90%,
giving you reliable, actionable entries in real time.
─── HOW IT WORKS ───────────────────────────────────────────
The indicator calculates a linear regression line over a configurable
lookback period and builds upper and lower bands at a defined standard
deviation distance. Price action near the boundaries is filtered through
a set of internal conditions before a signal is confirmed:
• BUY signal → price touches or crosses below the lower band with
momentum reversal confirmation. Displayed as an upward green arrow.
• SELL signal → price touches or crosses above the upper band with
momentum reversal confirmation. Displayed as a downward red arrow.
Signals are only emitted on closed bars (bar-shift confirmation),
which is the primary mechanism responsible for the 90% repaint reduction.

Channel_Color — color for channel lines and band fill

Best results on H1 and H4 timeframes.
Regression_Period between 80–150 for trend following.
Use Deviations = 1.5 for more signals, 2.5 for higher precision.
Combine with a trend filter (e.g. MA200) for best performance.

Signal is generated when ALL conditions are met:
1. Price closes beyond the channel boundary
2. Previous bar closed inside the channel (reversion setup)
3. Signal confirmed on bar close (shift=1) — no repaint
