opnMAX Kronos is a high-precision, time-optimized execution algorithm engineered specifically for the dynamic volatility of global indices, most notably the SPX500. Designed for traders who demand professional-grade risk management and open-ended momentum capture, Kronos operates by mathematically measuring daily volatility across the distinct volume cycles of the Asia, London, and New York sessions.
By running a dual-engine logic system, the EA identifies exact moments of structural breakout and exhaustion, executing only when market conviction crosses rigorous mathematical thresholds.
Key Features
-
Session-Adaptive Volatility Tracking: Scans market momentum across three independent global sessions. Each session utilizes highly customizable Daily ATR percentage triggers to filter out market chop and execute only when genuine institutional volume enters the market.
-
Dual-Engine Architecture: Deploys a simultaneous two-pronged approach: Strategy A tracks micro-structural breakouts and exact pullback retests (M5), while Strategy B isolates higher-timeframe mean-reversion exhaustion points (M15).
-
Infinite Step-Trailing Engine: Built to aggressively capitalize on massive runners. Once a trade reaches a deep profit threshold, Kronos dynamically deletes the physical Take Profit and transitions into an open-ended, percentage-based trailing lock, riding trends until the exact moment of reversal.
-
End-of-Day Liquidation: Features a strict broker-time synchronization protocol that permanently closes all active positions 5 minutes before the daily rollover, completely eliminating exposure to swap fees and overnight gap risks.

"Kronos doesn't predict the market; it weaponizes time, executing only when session volume and mathematical volatility perfectly align."
⚠️ Critical Warning: Daylight Saving Time (DST)
The opnMAX Pro operates based on specific clock times ( InpSessionHour and InpSessionMinute ).
Broker Server Time: Most brokers use GMT+2 or GMT+3, but they change for DST at different times than the local time. You must manually adjust the Session Hour input if your broker's offset changes relative to the market you are trading.
Backtesting Caution: Standard MT5 backtests often use a fixed server offset and do not account for historical DST shifts. This can lead to the EA "trading the wrong hour" in historical data, significantly skewing results. Always verify that the backtest is capturing the actual session open candles.
