Strategy Overview
This EA uses a dual-indicator approach to identify filtered trade entries. The EMA (Exponential Moving Average) identifies the overall trend direction, while the RSI (Relative Strength Index) confirms entry momentum. Trades are only opened when both indicators align, reducing false signals.
The EA also features a Retracement-based Additional Order System. When the market retraces against an initial position, the EA places additional entries at calculated price levels during market retracements. This system only activates after EMA and RSI confirm the trend direction, and all orders use the same fixed lot size with stop losses. This is not a martingale — each additional entry serves to improve the average entry price, not to double down on losing trades.
The BUY and SELL strategies operate independently with separate optimized parameters and their own Magic Numbers, ensuring no interference. One side may be active while the other waits — this natural diversification helps smooth out the equity curve.

Symbol: ETHUSD (Ethereum vs US Dollar). Timeframe: M15 (15-minute chart). Minimum deposit: $500 for 0.1 lot (aggressive) or $2,000 (recommended). Account type: Hedging. Leverage: 1:2000 recommended (backtest was performed at 1:2000; lower leverage may require smaller lot sizes). VPS recommended for uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
Deposit and Lot Size
All backtest results above are based on 0.1 lot with a $500 initial deposit. The maximum equity drawdown from the starting deposit was $128.73. This is the key number for choosing your deposit — it determines how much of your capital is at risk.
For 0.1 lot: $500 deposit means the $128.73 drawdown equals 25.7% of capital — aggressive and only suitable for traders who accept high risk. $2,000 deposit brings the drawdown to 6.4% of capital — moderate and recommended for most traders. $3,000 deposit means 4.3% of capital at risk — comfortable and suitable for long-term trading.
The lot size and deposit scale linearly. Multiply both by the same factor. For example, 0.2 lot requires doubling the deposit ($1,000 aggressive, $4,000 moderate, $6,000 comfortable). For 0.5 lot, multiply by 5 ($2,500 aggressive, $10,000 moderate, $15,000 comfortable). For 1.0 lot, multiply by 10 ($5,000 aggressive, $20,000 moderate, $30,000 comfortable).
A larger deposit does not change the EA strategy. It only reduces the drawdown percentage relative to your capital. Always start with the minimum lot size (0.1) on a demo account to verify performance with your broker before going live.
