Astro Gann Intraday is an technical timing tool developed for MetaTrader 5 that maps hypothetical short-term astronomical cycles onto intraday price charts (M1 to H1). Inspired by W.D. Gann's work, the tool tries to examine real-time celestial coordinates—primarily the Moon's movement, fast planetary positions, and local diurnal rotation angles—to help traders study potential harmonic timing windows.
Overview
Astro Gann Intraday focus exclusively on fast-moving celestial bodies and short-term celestial rhythms:
- Lunar Harmonics: Tracks the Moon's rapid transit across key celestial reference points.
- Diurnal Angles: Monitors local rotational axes (Ascendant and Midheaven calculated for major financial hubs like Wall Street) which complete full rotations within a single trading day.
- Fast Planetary Steps: Evaluates harmonic displacements of the inner celestial bodies (Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars).
- Harmonic Sine Projection: Connects historical pivot points with potential upcoming celestial alignments via a visual sinusoidal wave for structural cycle visualization.
How It Works
- Cycle Identification: When you designate a significant price turning point (a swing high or swing low), the algorithm computes the exact geocentric astronomical configuration present at that precise bar.
- Harmonic Recurrence Scan: It scans forward to identify when that specific celestial relationship or similar is scheduled to repeat or reach its next key geometric interval.
- Phase & Polarity Alignment: The indicator evaluates recent historical price action leading into the pivot to determine whether the wave should initiate from a crest (hypothetical downward turn) or from a trough (hypothetical upward turn).
- Visual Rhythm: It plots an illustrative sinusoidal wave spanning from the chosen pivot through the projected future celestial event, offering a visual framework of potential cyclical rhythm.
Disclaimer: Market prices are driven by multiple complex macroeconomic and liquidity factors. Cycle projections are purely theoretical models designed for timing exploration; they should be treated as hypothetical roadmaps rather than guaranteed price turns.
How to Use
Using Astro Gann Intraday is straightforward and designed directly on the chart interface:
1. Manual Pivot Analysis
- Click the [1. Select Start] button on the on-chart HUD panel.
- Left-click directly on any significant intraday swing high or swing low on your chart. A vertical marker will appear locking the selected bar.
- Click the [2. Analyse] button. The indicator will analyze the astronomical configuration at that bar, locate the next related celestial recurrence, and draw a sinusoidal projection toward that future timestamp.
2. Auto Analysis Mode
- Click the [4. Auto Analysis] button. The tool will automatically locate the latest confirmed market swing and project the primary cycle without requiring manual selection.
3. Clear Chart
- Click the [3. Clear] button to remove active wave drawings and reset the HUD back to live sky telemetry.
4. Switch Between Visual Modes
- Click the [5. View: ASTRO WHEEL <-> 24H RADAR] button to toggle between:
- Astro-Clock Wheel: A circular 360° display showing current planetary longitudes, the moving diurnal axes, and real-time aspect chords.
- 24H Confluence Radar: A linear timeline showing upcoming intraday celestial windows along with estimated confluence intensity.
Key Inputs & Parameters
All parameters are organized into logical groups within the indicator settings:
=== Intraday Astro Engine & Exchange Location ===
- Intraday Astro Engine Mode: Selects the core celestial driver used for analysis:
- Combined Adaptive: Automatically selects between Lunar, Planetary, and Diurnal cycles based on the active chart timeframe.
- Lunar Harmonic Cycles Only: Focuses on Moon transits ( for M15, M30, and H1).
- Fast Planet Micro-Harmonics: Focuses on short-term inner planet steps (useful for H1 and H4).
- Diurnal NY Angles: Focuses on rapid local rotational axes (ideal for M1, M5, and M15 session trading).
- Exchange Latitude / Longitude: Geographic coordinates used for calculating diurnal angles (default set to Wall Street, New York).
- Auto-Detect Broker GMT Offset / Manual Offset: Synchronizes your broker server time with UTC time for astronomical precision.
=== Intraday Swing & Cycle Wavelength Settings ===
- Auto Swing Detection Bars: Number of confirmation bars to the left and right used when detecting swings in Auto mode.
- Min Cycle Bars: Enforces a minimum bar wavelength on the current timeframe to ensure sine waves remain clear, smooth, and easily readable.
- Max Sine Wave Cycles: Prevents wave compression when analyzing historical pivots far back on the chart.
- Aspect Orb Tolerances (Moon / Planet / Angle): Specifies allowable angular margins of tolerance for detecting celestial alignments.
- Forecast Hours & Radar Hours: Defines how far ahead the forward scan and the Radar table look into the future.
- Wave Amplitude Multiplier: Adjusts the visual vertical height of the plotted sinusoidal wave on the chart.
- Include Micro Harmonics: Toggles secondary geometric subdivisions for additional intraday granularity.
=== Visual & HUD Settings ===
- Initial HUD Display Mode: Choose whether the indicator starts in Astro Wheel or 24H Radar view.
- HUD Canvas Size & Margins: Controls the dimensions and screen placement of the on-chart control panel.
- Visual Colors: Customizable color options for the historical wave, forecast wave, pivot lines, and timing markers.
