OVERVIEW

**OFX orderFlow** shows whether money is flowing **into** gold (accumulation) or
**out of** it (distribution), combining two proven money-flow measures on one clean
oscillator — **CMF (Chaikin Money Flow)** and **MFI (Money Flow Index)** — and it
automatically flags **money-flow divergences** against price.
Purpose-built for **XAUUSD (Gold)**, recommended on **H1**. It uses standard
OHLC + volume math — no tick data required.

WHAT IT DOES

• **CMF histogram** — accumulation vs distribution as a green (positive) / red
(negative) histogram: above zero = buyers accumulating, below = distribution.
• **MFI line (centered)** — the Money Flow Index re-scaled to share the same axis
(a gold line around zero), with **overbought / oversold** guide levels.
• **Money-flow divergence** on confirmed pivots:
– Price **higher high** but CMF **lower high** → **bearish** divergence (money
leaving) — magenta arrow.
– Price **lower low** but CMF **higher low** → **bullish** divergence (money
entering) — aqua arrow.
• **Hover tooltips** — every arrow explains itself in plain English on the chart.
• **Smart volume source** — Real volume when your broker provides it, otherwise tick
volume (Auto), shown in the on-chart badge.

OFX orderFlow is **one engine in the OrderFlow (OFX) suite** — a set of indicators
built as **one connected system, not separate tools.** Each engine reads a
different, independent side of the same gold market, and they are designed to agree:

HOW TO USE
-------------------------------------------------------
1. Attach OFX MoneyFlow to an **XAUUSD H1** chart — it opens in a separate window.
2. Read the CMF histogram (above/below zero) and the MFI line (overbought/oversold);
watch for divergence arrows.
3. Hover any arrow for its meaning, and confirm with the rest of the OFX suite for
higher-conviction entries.

• **InpCMFPeriod** — Chaikin Money Flow period (default: 20)
• **InpMFIPeriod** — Money Flow Index period (default: 14)
• **InpPivot** — swing-pivot half-width; lower = earlier but noisier signals
(default: 3)
• **InpDivScanBars** — how many bars back to scan for divergence pivots (default: 400)
• **InpVolSource** — volume source: Auto (real if present, else tick) / Real / Tick
(default: Auto)
• **InpShowArrows** — draw divergence arrows with hover tooltips (default: true)

NOTE ON DATA HONESTY
-------------------------------------------------------
OFX shows whether it is using **REAL** or **TICK** volume in the on-chart badge, so
you always know the basis of the read. This is by design.
