HOW THE SCANNER WORKS For each symbol, it reads three timeframes simultaneously using iCustom() calls and computes: - Trend direction (price vs configurable MA) - BULL / BEAR / FLAT - RSI value with threshold coloring - Distance from moving average in pips Best-alignment logic: when all three timeframes agree on direction for a given symbol, the row is highlighted green (BUY alignment) or red (SELL alignment). This filters noise and surfaces only the highest-conviction setups. BACKTEST CONTEXT (2022-2024, 8 symbols x 3 timeframes) The alignment filter significantly improved signal quality versus single-timeframe entries. Multi-TF confluence on XAUUSD and USDJPY correlated with the strongest directional moves in the test period.
